I go to a methadone clinic, a nurse forced drug screen showed positive for xanax and clonazepam metoolites. I have not taken klonopin for two years, the clinic is adament that I had to have taken it,, and I am 100% sure I did not. My Meds are methadone, xanax, lamictal, diovan, celexa, synthroid, amatriptaline, ambien, compazine. My over the counter meds are, nyquil (migraine treatment along with the compazine) calcium, prenatal vitamin, B12, D3. please help, my take home status will be revoked, and I know I didn't do it.. ## Ok update. They claim that the drug company again tested down the urine and the same results showed. I have been prescribed Clonazepam for anxiety. I am to take it three times per day, one tablet at night about 30 minutes before bed time, one tablet first thing in the morning (I wake up about 6:00 a.m.) and one tablet around mid-day (1:00-1:30 p.m.). I have been taking it since Monday but do not feel any effects (though I have slept better the past two nights). So I lost a strip of diazepam and after 2 days without any I was feeling withdrawal effects so I bought 3 of these little white pills off a mate to get by til Monday when I get a repeat prescription. Supposed to be clonazepam (aka rivotril EU or klonapin USA) and really potent but I chewed up one to see if it tasted anything like benzo ( i am prescribed UK blue 10mgs) and it tasted of not a lot.. I don't expect it will do any harm, but nnot sure if it will do any good either. They are the same size as a diazepam tablet, smallish and round, with MSJ stamped on one side and just a + mark across on the reverse.. Any idea what they are? I was just given a different brand of clonazepam (Klonopin) and it is like taking a placebo compared with other brands, such as Teva. Anyone else notice this? I for one think it has a lot to do with the different set of inactive ingredients found in each manufacturer's brand/generic. Reason I say this is because nothing else is usually changed on the Rx label when you switch between different versions. After Teva, Mylan, Northstar and many other manufacturers have to decided to quit manufacturing the regular tablet form of Clonazepam in the last few months ive decided to look into switching to the wafer form also known as Orally Disintegrating Tablets. As far as I can see there are only 3 manufactures that make it which is great to me, less chances of getting something different each time you refill. I had to switch from Teva to Actavis clonazepam and am feeling a bit more negative on the new brand, despite the nearly identical inactive ingredients between the two. Does the composition of the active ingredient, the medicine itself vary between brands. Is it synthesized differently or use a different formula? ## Hello Schleprock, No. The active ingredient is the same but even though the inactive ingredients are similar or even listed as the same it doesn't necessarily mean they are identical. the reason for this is that they do not have to disclose the amount of inactive ingredients, so maybe one company uses a larger dosage of corn starch while the other barely uses any and so on. I have a question. I am told when I contacted Sandoz that they are no longer making Clonazepam of any kind. That means a lot of brands will no longer be available. I've been taking Sandoz Clonazepam 0.5 mg (yellow tablet) 3 times a day for 10 years now and am trying to find another type that is just the same or just as good when my pharmacy runs out of mine. Any thoughts on what is something just as good or close to it? Or did anyone find a pharmacy that has a ton of this type? Hi is this drug suitable for a hyper patient who is also on quetepean 200 a night? I’m finding it helps mellow me out during the day and not experienced any negative side effects yet. I just started taking 2 (0.5MG each) in the morning and 2 at night yesterday, I'm NOT A BUSER!!!! I just needed to get off my pain meds after back surgery and cant get threw the methadone withdrawals so my doc gave me the clonazepam for withdrawals and being able to sleep. The anxiety and RLS was so bad I couldn't stand it. I just want to get through the methadone withdrawal "hump" and then off everything so how long can I take the clonazepam before my body will need to wean myself off that. Instead of just stopping it in a few weeks like I plan, just enough to get through the methadone withdrawals. My doctor started me on Clonotril this week. I am taking 10 mg - 5 in the morning and 5mg at night. I feel weak and as though something is going on in my head and my body. Is this symptom common? Will this symptom diminsh? I had a paper script from my Dr. for Clonazepam. I lost it, so I called the Dr office and had them call another in for me to my local Krogers here in Northern Kentucky. I am out of my clonnazepam because I gave a couple of my own to my boyfriend who has anxiety as well. Well guess what, I have now found the paper script my Dr. here in Kentucky wrote me. Krogers has told me they wont fill the electronic script for 3 more days because insurance wont fill it till then and of course now im out because my dumb butt gave a couple to my boyfriend. I hope that I can save just even one person from taking clonazepam. The FDA doesn't protect us from these pharmaceutical companies. I've been living in pure hell for months due to bad batches of clonazepam being sold in our local pharmacies. Google FDA warnings to Sandoz. After reading all the posts about this particular med, I now realize that the different colors of this same medicine affects each of us differently. I cannot take the blue, yellow or orange clonazepam but the pink one is a life saver for me. My pharmacist has given me the others and my anxiety doubles. I have searched for the drug store that carries the pink one. I just cannot take the others. So weird how the same medicine, same dosage is so very different from manufacturer to manufacturer. What is the difference really? And why are they different?
