Hey, New to the forums. Just registered because this seems like the right place to answer my question. I am on clonazepam .5mg 4x daily and get a monthly prescription with 1 refill. I filled it on the 14th of this month and I go out of town (currently live in Colorado and am going back to my home town of Baltimore) for 3-4 weeks on the 29th of this month. Also, my prescribing doctor is out of town until the 12th of October. Anyway, my prescription is filled through walgreens, and I will run out 2 weeks from the day I leave town. I will be out of town anywhere from 3-4 weeks. My flight to Baltimore has been booked however my exact return date has not yet been decided but will be sometimes between 3 weeks and 4. I know that walgreens is nationwide however while in Baltimore I will not hav...

My son was originally placed on Mylan brand it worked beautifully. Then when they stopped production (but you are still able to get it while a patient in the hospital), we switched him to Teva brand after failing on several other manufacturers, and he has done well. Now they say Teva has stopped manufacturing the Clonazepam. What brand is comparable to these two? He takes 0.5 at night for his nighttime seizures.... I need some advice, don't want him losing his seizure control! ## Hello Renee, There are a large number of generics available that your son could try, what's important to note is what inactive ingredients your son does well with and which ones your son's body does not agree with. For example the Mylan and Teva brands contain the following inactive ingredients acco...

It is obvious from the comments on this and other sites, TEVA dropped the ball when they discontinued manufacturing Clonazepam. Many of us are suffering and struggling to get back on track due to the cheap replacements made by Accord. The pharmacies are distributing junk Clonazepan. The pills fall apart; they are not the same consistency & they're loaded with fillers that cause allergies and reactions. It is disgraceful that drug companies have stooped this low for the mighty dollar. They are killing people by changing the ingredients. TEVA...WHY would you stop making the real thing?

I need to know what drug I can take for my adhd along with my Clonazepam? I was disapproved for vyvanse 40, but what about focalin? ## I am a hypo manic depressive. I take lithium carbonate 900mg and 1mg 2x a day of klonopin . I've taken adderal but my psychiatrist will not give it to me if I want to continue my klonopin. I'd like to try focalin but I need to find out if the lithum and klonopin are compatible with focalin. Help? ## The main issue here is that both the Focalin and the Clonazepam treats opposite issues, one is a sedative, while the other is an upper, the same is going to be true of any other such medication that you try to add with the Clonazepam. I know this isn't usually a listed interaction, or warning, but since treating one condition can aggravate the oth...

Can I safely take Clonazepam with Belviq? ## Hi lee, I looked at the UCLA health drug interaction checker and no interactions are being listed between these 2 drugs. So it should technically be fine. That being said, it's always best to be safe when taking multiple medications, and your doctor or pharmacist should be able to look at your file to confirm you'll be okay taking both.

I want to know the name or salt name of the tablet my dr. gave to me opened and in a plastic pack with two other tablets named arkamin and clonazepam for dioxide opium addiction. The reason I want to know the name of this small round white tablet is because he gave me too expansive. Only this tablet and every time he gave me after opened from package and in small plastic bag if I know the name of tablet I confirm from market then I ask him why he gave me these tablets too expensively. Can you help me and tell me the name of tablet? ## I have "Clonazepam" hopefully, with one side blank (No Markings) and the other crossed (one line). I can't find it anywhere on the internet where that is common or even exists. The vendor did not reply to my inquiry regarding this issue.

I’ve been taking half of .5 Teva clonazepam for 10+ years. When I refilled my prescription I got the same dose but Actavis brand. I don’t seem to feel the same I have slight headache , jittery and spacey Not sure if it’s because I’m a hypochondriac and creating this stress or is it because the actavis brand is that much different than Teva ? ## Hello Cp4499, While the two brands do contain the same active ingredient it is possible that you are reacting to the differences in inactive ingredients. Below I have provided some info I sourced from the NIH. Actavis contains these inactive ingredients STARCH, CORN LACTOSE MONOHYDRATE MAGNESIUM STEARATE MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE D&C RED NO. 30 Teva contains the these inactive ingredients STARCH, CORN LACTOSE MONOHYDR...

Has anyone ever been prescribed Clonazepam and been drug tested and a minute amount of Alprazolam showed positive in your urine? ## Found out it was Accord brand made in China and through my research it looks as if Accord brand is not always FDA approved. I will never take that brand again I have been drug tested for over 20 years with NEVER a positive drug screen until I picked up my last prescription and within one week of taking it had a drug screen and a small minute amount of Alprazolam was positive in that test. This has caused a backlash of horrible circumstances and should have NEVER happened. There is no recourse for me except digging and pinning down when and where this PATICULAR medication came from.

Does anyone have experience using Klonopin (clonazepam) to wean off of Lyrica? I know Neurontin (gabapentin) and Lyrica (pregabalin) are used to wean off of benzos. But I'm actually trying to wean off of 150mgs. Lyrica twice a day (300mgs. daily) using clonazepam. If anyone that has found using this method beneficial please let me know. And if anyone has done it successfully as well please share with me their technique. Thanks in advance. ## I'm nearly off of Lyrica now after 5 years of 300mg a day. I had one prescription for 10mg and another for 5mg. I started taking 10mg at bedtime and 5mg when I woke up, then 5mg more if needed before bed. It was living Hell the 1st month, I was sweating profusely. Now I'm down to 5mg in the morning and 5mg at night. Soon I'll just us...

compocicion del ropsil forte , indicaciones para su uso, recomendaciones, contra indicaciones etc. ## I haven't come across any specific details on Ropsil forte, but from what I could gather, I believe Ropsil contains the active ingredient Clonazepam; which is a benzodiazepine class drug used to treat anxiety, panic disorder, and seizures. The manufacturer of this drug goes by the name of MediPharm. Unfortunately, since this is a foreign medication here in the US, I can't find much more information or clues to help verify the accuracy of this match being 100% true. The real confusing part is trying to figure out how 800mgs of Ropsil translates to 0.5mg or 2mg of Clonazepam... You can learn more about this drug on the page for Clonazepam Details Does anyone else here recognize th...

Has anyone tried generic clonazepam by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc., which is owned by Novartis AG? I just picked up my new refill of generic clonazepam 2mgs. Last time they had given me the generic Accord Healthcare which I didn't like. I inquired about Teva but had heard it had discontinued its generic clonazepam. Teva and Mylan were the only ones I liked, with Teva being definitely my favorite. This time they gave me the generic clonazepam by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc., which is weird, just like the Accord Healthcare ones. Yet they both feel different. The generic clonazepam 2mgs. by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. have E on top of the numbers 65 on one side, and nothing on the other side, not even a score. They are white, completely round and very small with a smooth surface. I have...

I refilled my clonazepam 2mg rx and received the blister packs with the name Capam-2 MD on the back and by Adwin Pharma. I can't find anything about the name Capam anywhere!! It does say Clonazepam 2mg on the back as well, but I don't know if they're a legitimate brand. Anyone else have these or heard of them? ## Hello KLJM26, What are the imprints on the pills? With this information I should be able to provide you with the information regarding the pills you should have received from the pharmacy. ## There aren’t any imprints. It says clonazepam 2mg on the back of the blister pack but it also says capam-2 md. Adwin Pharma is who it says it’s manufactured by. I can’t find anything about the name capam-2 md though and I’m worried about taking them. ## ...

I got a couple supposed klonopins from an aquintance of mine and the imprint is E 65,round and white but there was no score in the back so ive been googling for hours at imprints and all the pics have scores on them and mine doesn't plus I have a tolerance so its hard to tell,i would appreciate if anyone on here would have any info on it cuz the internet searching is getting me nowhere. Thankyou in advance. Marie ## Hello Marie, I would just like to preface this message by saying that accepting controlled medication that is not prescribed to you is illegal and I advise you to not do so in the future. Following up on the question at hand I did a search on the nih pill database using the imprint search e;65. I was able to find multiple brands of clonazepam (klonopin), some of which ha...

What is another less expensive generic drug to replace Clonazepam? The Clonazepam is going up in price considerably and I need to make a change. ## It sort of depends. There are similar commonly prescribed benzodiazepines but not many as "potent" as klonopin that have as long of a half life. Xanax is the closest in potency conversion but has a much shorter half life. Valium has a long half life but 10mg would be the conversion to 1mg of clonazepam. Lorazepam, while a little less potent, also has a lengthy half life but is about half as potent as clonazepam or alprazolam. If you switch to a different, cheaper, generic you may have to adjust your dose accordingly. I'm not sure which is cheaper. I know generic alprazolam is pretty cheap but due to its much shorter half life you...

Small round white "sleeping" pill from Pharmacy in Los Algodones Mexico. Has slightly beveled edges. Side #1 has cross cut lines (as to be able to split it into 1/4's". Side #2 has a series of approximately 4 circular lines, marking a logo that appears somewhat Adobe, SantaFe, Southwest, Native American, style lines. ## It's generic Clonazepam. I buy Rivotril from there, and sometimes I get stuck with the generic. ## Hello Rich, Looking around the site I get a lot of different answers regarding this description. Erzulie says that it's a generic clonazepam but other users claim that they sometimes get this type of pill when they have their ritalin or ambien filled in Mexico. My guess is that it's a manufacturer's mark rather than a specific medication iden...

I've been on .25 Teva clonazepam for a number of years and being sensitive to meds avoided taking the Actavis it was replaced with stuck with Teva pills from 2016 for a few months. My anxiety returned a few weeks ago that I think was related to the expired meds. Tried the Actavis and the transition isn't going well. My anxiety's still lingering and I just feel different on the Actavis despite the near equivalence of ingredients with Teva. Would it make sense to try the clonazepam wafer that Teva still manufactures? I'm curious if the formula itself for the active ingredient differs between brands, meaning the same medicine in the pill would be in the wafer. Or is there a brand qualitatively similar to Teva's that others have tried? Or am I just feeling side effects f...

Since Teva replaced their clonazepam pill with the Actavis version (which I'm not doing well with), would the wafer (that it looks like Teva still carries) make a good substitute? Does the wafer or the pill vary at all in distribution and effectiveness? And is it reasonable to think that the active ingredient in the Teva wafer is any different from the one in the Actavis tablet? Has anyone at least moved from tablet to wafer and experienced any difference? ## RE: "Does the wafer or the pill vary at all in distribution and effectiveness?" My gut tells me that it would vary (at least mildly) in distribution and effectiveness due to being a different composition altogether. I think a tablet would take longer to metabolize when compared to a wafer that's broken down quite ea...

Is the blue C1 Clonazepam manufactured in the U.S. And is it closer to an Ativan than a Klonopin? The effects seem more similar to Ativan because they make me nauseous were as Klonopin do not. ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Accord Healthcare and they are based in North Carolina. They list it as containing 1mg of Clonazepam. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient in generic medications, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%. Given that you're experiencing more side effects, my best guess would be that this one is slightly higher in the amount of the active ingredient. Thus, you may also experience other side effects that the FDA lists as possi...
