Clonazepam Ingredients Mylan Brand Vs Teva Vs Accord (Page 12) (Top voted first)
UpdatedPlease help with this, i have taken the mylan brand for several years, when the pharmacy could no longer order it they ordered Teva, it immediately gave me pains that seemed to be in my chest....kind of the opposite of what it's supposed to do. So with Mylan being available though only two pharmacies, someone mentioned accord...but what is the difference of fillers. could you simply list all the ingredients for all three brands so if Accord matches Mylan i'm ok?
Re: Jace (# 185)
Wow I’d hate to see the taper off on that high dosage. It’d take you 6 years.
I sure you know mylan got into a bind with their epi-pen thing. Anycase, I will not take clonazepam period. I will only take Roche Klonopin. If you are actualy taking a pill made by teva do not expect any form of consistancy.
I have been taking Roche Klonopin for ~20 years and I believe it is the most stable medication I have ever taken; I believe that it is more reliable than seroquel by miles! (please do not mention the ethanol issue thanx).
Re: steve (# 187)
You mean to Genentech Klonopin. That stuff is consistent as you say and gives me and others GI issues such as constipation I found out as soon as I took it I had to run to eat something, must be the dye or fillers they use While it is more consistent it’s also 40x more expensive without insurance coverage. Roughly $4 a pill for 1mg. Or $4 for a month supply of genre. It wasn’t worth it to me as I had stomach problems and didn’t find it any more effective then Teva , Mylan or Accord
I've been on accord .5mg clonazepam for a year now and it has worked well for me. I was surprised because it is a cheaper brand and that's why my pharmacy switched to it. But thank God for me that I haven't had any probelms with it. I dont know what state you are in but where I am the pharmacists wont order from you the company you want. They have decided on certain brands and they are sticking to them. I hope yours allows you to choose. I use Kroger where I am and it is always accord brand.
Re: ArlisT (# 181)
So when's the Teva coming back?
Re: Eric (# 191)
No kidding. This was posted long ago and it’s not working like the old version. It’s been established
Re: Enjoy (# 192)
What number was that message.... I cannot seem to find what you claim is there.
Re: MJ (# 193)
So does Walgreens. I’m sticking with the Accord over the Super Duper New and Not improved Teva rerelease
Re: Eric (# 194)
It was a different thread.
Re: Sam (# 8)
I take accord and have been on it for 2 years and it’s always been good to me.Everyone is different, what works for one might not be so good for the other person.
Re: Eddie (# 197)
I take Accord and the quality control is not the best but neither was Teva when I use to take it in the old formula. Im also taking the Parr klonopin instant dissolve and the quality is always the same. The Parr doesn't last as long as the pills but it is an option.
"This discussion thread hasn't been active for a few weeks. Could you please spare a moment and update your progress?"
Ok..im taking Teva, Accord and Par. Im still undecided which is the best.
The new Teva knocks me out within 2 hours of taking it which is good (I take it for sleep) but it doesn't make me feel like superman like the old Teva did.
The Accord doesn't put me to sleep and makes me gain weight and gives me constipation (what fillers or what are they putting in this) probably because of the binders and fillers.. It does work fairly well for anxiety but the quality control is terrible. Every new refill I get is different
The Par is the wafer dissolve on your tongue version which helps with sleep and anxiety but wears off too quickly I guess because it goes directly into your bloodstream and not through your stomach. So if I take that I have to take multiple time of day and there's ups and downs I don't like
So--
Teva- 8/10 for sleep, 6/10 for anxiety, digestion problems 10/10, quality control (same as last fill) ?
Accord- 5/10 for sleep, 8/10 for anxiety, 4/10 digestion problems, quality control (same as last fill)5/10
Par- 7/10 for sleep, 9/10 for anxiety, 10/10 for digestion problems, quantity control (same as last fill) 10/10
Your thoughts?
The new Teva is terrible..its nothing like the old other than the shape and looks. It knocks me out within 20 minutes of taking and only helps me sleep for about 5 hours where the old at the same dosage would would work for 9 hours. Im not sure what to do.
That's weird because Mylan has always been one of the worst companies as far as quality of the meds they produce. I've never taken a mylan product that was even close to being decent. Always garbage products even years ago before all these generics started lowering the quality of their generics.
Re: Bobby (# 201)
Mylans not even made anymore so why bring it up ...You have Accord, Teva or brand name
Re: Trevor (# 202)
Solco is also available.
Re: PK (# 204)
Where did you find the solco?
Re: Jay (# 205)
Walgreens has it... they can get it but you have to have your Dr put on your script Solco only...
Re: nosok12 (# 206)
whats your experience compared with accord and teva?
Re: Trevor (# 212)
Yeah that was me that brought up the Solco. Thanks for responding as this gives me a little more reassurance of what I had in mind. Stay safe and healthy!
