Clonazepam Ingredients Mylan Brand Vs Teva Vs Accord (Page 11) (Top voted first)

Please help with this, i have taken the mylan brand for several years, when the pharmacy could no longer order it they ordered Teva, it immediately gave me pains that seemed to be in my chest....kind of the opposite of what it's supposed to do. So with Mylan being available though only two pharmacies, someone mentioned accord...but what is the difference of fillers. could you simply list all the ingredients for all three brands so if Accord matches Mylan i'm ok?

Now I understand that Mylan no longer makes clonazepam, nor does Actavis. Found some at a CVS not close to me and had them put my name on it for the next month's supply. Any suggestions what I should do next? Been through withdrawal with the switch to Accord and don't want to go through that ever again! What are we supposed to do? Go to Thailand to get our meds? India? Canada? Big Pharma certainly is getting their job done to get rid of all the generics. I read that benzos are the worse addictive drugs in the world - well, gee whiz, I don't take them for fun! I take them so I can function without shaking from head to toe and calling the EMTS. Anxiety is nothing you can just blow away. Help, please!

I think you meant to say that Teva is no longer made not Actavis. Actavis is still manufactured but sucks

Well Jonathan, we may all be in a pickle because Clonazepam is no longer on the Medicare formulary and rated QL - quantities limited - so we can only get a month's supply at a time - and no more than 90 tabs. I need 120 to operate on Actavis, and now they aren't making them anymore - so here we go again. I like your alternative, but may not work for me. We're up against the wall again.

Yes, the powers that be think they are helping humanity by eliminating low-cost generics to get rid of the opioid crisis, but that drives us in the other direction - alcohol. Who do they think they are kidding???? For those of us who need clonazepam to function as normal human beings - not as drug seekers - they really have us between a rock and a hard place. There are many manufacturers of clonazepam listed if Googled, but how in the world do we get to all of them. I guess finding an independent pharmacy is one way, but I called one and they didn't return my call. Guess the news about Clonazepam being the "drug of choice" has them all scared and as soon as you say the word, they tune us out. If I have to go through withdrawal again as I did from Teva to Accord, I don't know how I'll survive.

Connie. Hi. Totally with you nothing compares to the generic Teva 1 mg I’ve been on this benzo’s twice now 10 years during the 90s and now eight years since 2010 I’ve been panicking over DeVer stopping manufacturing as I tried to activists in the cord and I was coming out of my skin the first day no comparison. Just from reading these blogs I found the Teaver still makes the 1 mg clonazepam wafer so I just talk to my psychiatrist he said it will work the same so I just got them but haven’t tried them during the day yet I’m about to over the weekend here it’s the same manufacture assuming everything will be the same I’ll let you know!

Unfortunately I don’t know. It was over 15 years ago, and with what I went through, never entered my mind I would ever even consider going back on benzo’s. So I don’t know and I’ve tried to find out a couple times. What is curious is you ain’t going to be needing to go off this again soon. I’m going to research it and see what I can find out. They were just other kind of meds, different classifications and combinations of things.

Do NOT take clonazepam by Accord! There is no comparison! Actavis or Teva (now the same company) is the only one that is consistent. I was switched from Teva to Accord. OMG the worst. I checked online and, OMG read all the comments from how BAD Accord is! And, it's made in CHINA. I've talked to Costco and, though they had switched to Accord, they are ordering my clonazepam from Actavis as they too have had a zillion complaints. Accord is the worst & does NOT work!!

I am in the same "boat". ACCORD is the worst!!!! Teva bought Actavis and, they ARE making it again. I am warning everyone: you are not wrong about the difference with these companies. Whatever u do, do not take the ACCORD!

Well, that makes a lot of sense to me about Activis putting you to sleep. I recently got switched to it after TEVA stopped manufacturing clonazepam, and I have thought I was developing narcolepsy! Never occurred to me it could be the Activis, since it is so ineffective as an anxiety medication. Before Activis they gave me Accord, which I find ok, but somewhat weaker than Teva, which has always been most effective for me. Dr increased my dose by 1 mg per day, because I thought I would be getting Accord from now on. However, CVS filled this new scrip with Activis brand. Even with the extra 1 mg dose per day, I have frequent anxiety attacks - something I never experienced with Teva.

Recently someone here posted that Teva still manufactures sublingual clonazepam wafers. Checked with my pharmacy (CVS), and they confirmed this, but said Dr would have to write new scrip specifying 'Teva clonazepam ODT', and they would order it for me. I pick it up tomorrow.

Funny how the different generics affect us all differently. Pharmacies and doctors will generally try and tell you that the FDA mandates there be no difference between generics of a particular medicine. Fortunately for me when I moved recently and got a new doctor, he affirmed my suspicion that the generics are definitely NOT all the same, and my pharmacist also know this, and will special order any brand available if your Dr so orders. Many pharmacies will not honor a 'dispense as written' prescription for generic brands, but my local CVS is very accommodating.

I ended up in er and my dr told me my blood tests said I had 0 benzodiazapenes in my blood? I have been suffering horrific attacks for months and now have heart arythmias..I was being called crazy for months!!#Proof these Accord and possibly others are placebos!

The Accords I have are pretty good if not the best. I think they have may have quality control issues. Im currently taking Brand Name and they suck. Not only are they $3-4 a pill but make me more depressed and help less with anxiety like then brands like Accord, Solco and Actavis. If I had to rate the generics I would rate them best to worst in that order. The brand name also give my stomach and gi tract a fit. I have to eat some 30 minutes after taking them cause they burn my stomach and cause terrible constipation. I would urge people to think of weaning themselves off klonopin and on to maybe ativan or valium.

Hi, my name is Diana and my RX is blue 1 mg 3 times a day from Accord. I think the blue works better than the green. You just have to try all of them. Accord works best for me.

According to the TEVA rep I spoke to, they are going to be bringing back the regualr tablets, hopefuly by te end of July. If they do, I will be switching back to them. These dissolving tablets work for me, but I think maybe they aren't as long lasting, even though when I had the regular pills I dissolved them under my tongue, too. Also, I find the ODTs cloyingly sweet.

Teva was the best brand kpin that I was ever on. I’m now on accord and it’s ok but doesn’t hold back the heart racing and doesn’t help me sleep, Mylan sucked. That was the general consensus
