Clonazepam Help Me (Page 23)
UpdatedI have always used the same brand of clonazepam. However they changed what is in the medication. I've been gravely ill because my body can't take the change. Now I want to not take it any longer because it's making me ill. How can I detox slowly if I don't have a decent batch of clo that agrees with me? If anyone has any real information please let me know. I'm ill feeling every day if I take it it makes me ill and get withdrawal If I don't take it I get still getting withdrawal.
I had a similar incident, I called my Dr and told her that I feel like I am withdrawing even though I am taking my medication like I am supposed to. She said that TEVA has too much filler and not enough medicine in it. Maybe it could be some of the fillers making you sick?? Either way I hope you get an answer quickly.
Re: Dawn (# 441)
Hi Dawn. I was wondering what dose of medication you are taking. I take .5mg in the day and 2mg at night. I believe I am getting bad batches. I did just fine with the old Teva. It is a total nightmare. I am getting major withdrawal symptoms. I was tapering, but it is impossible now as this is so inconsistent. Your Dr. Is so right. More filler than active product ingredient.
Re: Dawn (# 441)
Hi Dawn. I was wondering if your Dr switched you from Teva to another generic or the brand?
Sorry you and all of us have to suffer like this.
Re: Dawn (# 441)
I am also thinking that the fillers are contributing to feeling unwell in addition to withdrawal. There is no quality control on these drugs.
I got Galenika Rivotril 2mg but they spell it "Tableta" and instead of spelling it "Clonazepam" they spell it "Klonazepam". Has anyone come across these blister packs, and if so, are they a quality brand, cuz they do test positive for benzodiazepine and seem to work just fine? Please may I have some input from someone asap? Thank you.
Re: Roxanne64 (# 439)
Are you having trouble getting Teva brand? My pharmacy has to keep putting in an order.
I called Teva and I was told all doses are on backorder until July 14th.
Thanks
Re: Mikey (# 438)
Can someone answer my question (# 445)? I am not a recreational user. I have social anxiety disorder and sometimes my doctor doesn't give me enough and I get some through other means. Please respond if u can help me with my questions.
"How can I detox slowly"
Librium (Chlordiazepoxide).
It took me about 4-5 days to come off the Clonazepam. I did get a bit sweaty but nothing major. It did not even affect my sleep! I have been taking it for 20 years - and I still take it.
A good doctor should use the alcohol withdrawal protocol. If you need quick help go to the hospital "detox/rehab" and tell the doc you are going through alcohol withdrawal - They should give you Librium. Tell them that you drink daily. I hate to fib - but withdrawal can be unpleasant.
I was "very" surprised at how easy the detox was.
Re: Jack (# 445)
This drug is make by Roche; it is the Canadian name.

Re: Jack (# 445)
Roche makes Klonopin. it is the highest quality benzo I have ever taken.
Re: steve g (# 450)
Where do you get your KLONOPIN brand please ? I am trying everywhere and nowhere they seem to be able to order for me.
Re: Dawn (# 441)
Hi Dawn,
Are you still taking the Teva? I continue to get bad batches and was thinking of having to switch to Brand. I have started getting nausea with the last batch.
Never had any trouble with the old Teva.
Hope you are doing better.
Re: steve g (# 449)
Have you ever seen Roche 2mg Rivotril clonazepam without the word Roche with just the .2. On one side an the two lines on the other side? I've gotten batches of them with Roche .2. On one side an some with just the .2. R these legitimate?
Re: Jake (# 453)
But is my last question of the Roche Rivotril clonazepam tablet only having a .2. Without the Roche name with the .2. Legitimate or not Jake?
Re: Dana (# 452)
Teva 832 tablet is the only brand of clonazepam my body can tolerate an it really helps my anxiety. Social anxiety disorder ??
Re: Anonymous (# 440)
I get Teva 0.5mg.
have you tried padding with some valium?
I've had to combine ativan and Buspirone (BuSpar) before. the BuSpar seems to help with the gaps in the medication.
Re: Jack (# 454)
0.2 is not likely.
1 mg; 0.5 mg; 2 mg; 0.25 mg; 0.125 mg
I would think .025 or 0.125. These doses used to be available as sublingual.
the last surgeon I know used to provide 0.5 mg 2x a day.
using more than 2 doses is less accepted than before. however some people need the higher dose at 1.0 mg 2x a day PO.
In my experience there is no difference between 0.5/1.0 2x PO.
if anything the dose might have something to due to weight and the extend of personal trama.
surgeons like to be very thorough - psychiatrist are less so.
