Clonazepam .5mg From Accord Healthcare
UpdatedWho distributes Clonazepam .5mg from Accord Healthcare? I cannot find a pharmacy anywhere in my city that carries it.
Hello, Anne! How are you? I am very sorry that you're having trouble finding this medication.
One idea might be to ask your pharmacy if they can order it in for you.
There isn't any one particular distributor that always provides it. It might be carried by any, if it happens to be the one that has the cheapest price, at any given time.
What is your nearest large city? That might enable someone to suggest a pharmacy, if they know of one that carries it.
This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
Does anyone else have any ideas or suggestions?
I've gone to every pharmacy in the area where I live and they have tried to order it but say their distributor(s) don't have it. I've taken it for years and know all the side effects. Thank you for your suggestions!
Anne, I just got my clonazepam .05 at Medicap Pharmacy in Newton. I got the Accord brand. Maybe you have a Medicap Pharmacy close to you.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
My pharmacy has changed my Clonazepam from Accord to Teva which doesn't work worth a hoot. Accord worked wonderfully. Rite Aid is my pharmacy and they're being bought out by Walgreens. Will be going to CVS or whoever has it in future or my Doc will write it for Brand name.
Re: Barbie 616 (# 4)
Wal Mart carries exclusively Accord generic clonazepam Barbie; they told me about six months ago when they didn't have my favored brand they previously carried that they were now contracted with Accord and that they'd only be carrying it from now on.
Good Luck!
Someone on this thread said that Wal-Mart carries it exclusively. Not sure if that's true but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Re: Lazaro (# 5)
Great to know. If CVS doesn't carry it, then I'll get it from Wal-Mart.
Thanks.
WALMART HAS. THE CONTRACT WITH ACCORD. YOU CAN ALSO GET IT AT RITE-AID IF YOU BEG "PRETTY PLEASE".
My Walmart here in Tx has it. Its only one that really works on me. They kept switching to nasty yellow ones fr Teva a yr ago. Half into withdrawls. I finally figured it out an now in my profile at Walmart its Accord only. Go to the pharm an tell them about it an have ur Dr call them to an say you will be in ER if you dont get Accord. They should know you refill there an order it on hand for you. Id look into that. My Psychiatrist called an told them Accord only.
Re: Barbie 616 (# 7)
Walmart does carry Accord Clonazepam and they will make sure that if that's your generic that works it will be noted in your file so that you only receive that brand. Not sure if this is in all states, but in NM Walmart usually has Accord. Good luck!!!!!!
Re: Anne (# 2)
All Walgreens here in Tennessee gives is Accord.
I get my orange 0.5mg Accord fr Walmart. I had Psych specify I needed Accord, only one that works for me,& had Walmart put it in my record with them that I can only take Accord. Im in Tx. Goodluck.
Re: Zio10 (# 12)
Have you had a recent problem with the Accord clonazepam. I've also take the Accord brand for 4 years but my last refill of the 05 mg was not right some is wrong I got gravely ill.
Re: Barbie (# 8)
Thank you for the information. CVS doen’t carry ACCORD any more. It had worked for me in the past. Will ck. with Walmart.
Re: Ellen (# 14)
Have you found it ? It seems they are on back order …. Not sure what’s going to happen.
Walgreens told me Accord if doing a recall. It's the only one that's works for me as well. I'm in Dallas. I'm going to check Walmart. I hope to God I find a pharmacy that has it. This teva is not it.
Re: Jen (# 16)
Call the manufacturer to push them. It is not a recall, they are being audited by FDA. TEVA gave me a terrible side effect… chest pain, chills, body pain.
Re: Ellen (# 14)
Publix pharmacy gave me Accord.
Re: Heather (# 18)
We don't have a Publix in Texas. If anyone finds a pharmacy please let me know if any Texas Pharmacy.
Re: Jen (# 19)
Have you tried the Walmart pharmacy in your location?
Try calling CVS and ask for the CVS pharmacies which still have accord in stock. They can check which pharmacies still have Accord. If they don’t do that you can call your provider and ask them to call the pharmacist, they would give this information to them.

Re: Jen (# 16)
Teva doesn't help me either. I take 1 mg for seizures and with Teva headaches, shortness of breath and fatigue. Only Accord worked with no side effects.. can't find it anywhere.
Re: Eric (# 13)
Same experience with Accord, has worked for years. My last scrip was filled in January and it’s not right. I’m having withdrawal symptoms. Finally connected the dots back to after i started taking this one in January. I should be able to get the brand name Klonopin today at an outrageous price! I need to be stable on my meds for my mental health so I’m willing to pay for it.
Re: Kita (# 20)
I called all the pharmacies in my area and all they carry is Teva. I'm just praying they get Accord back soon but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen if ever.
Re: Kita (# 17)
Teva has made me very sick for nearly a month now. My pharmacy told me today that they are unable to order ANY clonazepam but they still have Solco so I guess that will be what I have to take. I wonder if the FDA is trying to rid the whole market of benzoes. That is pretty scary and dangerous to many, many people who would be forced into CT. I don't know how the medical community could put up with that.
Re: Kita (# 15)
FDA is checking the facility where they are manufactured and Accord told me after calling them they are not sure when would be available. Today my pharmacy told me they can't order ANY brand of clonazepam and they don't know the reason. That is scary!
