Clonazepam 1/2 0.5mg

How long does it take to withdrawal from clonazepam 1/2 of 0.5 for over 10 years? I'm getting withdrawal symptoms and was put on lorazepam.

Most will say your minimal clonazepam dose shouldn't cause a substantial withdrawal syndrome period. They would be wrong.the best and only advice one should give is to be medically tapered or detoxified. In a proper medical setting benzodiazepine withdrawal can be life threatening. My major problem is that I'm taking it for chronic neck pain. What do I do about the reason I'm taking it for? I never had side effects not even when I went from the 0.5 to the .25. But the because I came across bad batches I realized I had a problem. I always had used the same brand because I am extra sensitive to medications. Hopefully you can help me with this devastating situation. Withdrawal would be bad enough without suffering from chronic neck pain. God help me.

What else have you tried for treating your neck pain?

Do you know what is causing it?

In such cases, Clonazepam usually works by relaxing the muscles, so a regular muscle relaxant might help. Have you talked to your doctor about trying one?

The FDA warns that Clonazepam carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.
