Clonazepam 0.5 Mg Teva Vs Accord (Page 2)
UpdatedI recently received Teva clonazepam and it worked great. Two weeks ago, I received clonazepam from Accord Pharmaceuticals and it was like a placebo pill. Has anyone taken this medicine By Accord and have you noticed a serious difference with it not helping? I've never had a generic never work before. I don't know what to do. All pharmacies in my area are now going with Accord Pharmaceuticals because it's cheaper. Help with an answer please.
I had trouble with TEVA. I now have PAR which seems ok. I didn’t realize there was such a difference in distributors.
Re: Stirfry (# 2)
I have blood tests from er showing 0 active ingredient in my blood! They ARE dangerous placebos if you have a seizure Nobody is accountable for this criminal act ..
Yrs. unfortunately same thing happened in January here in The Chicago area. Teva was gone and now I’m stuck with accord and it’s OK. But some days feels like a complete placebo. I miss teva so bad. All my other meds are teva. Idk why they stopped but you’re not alone. Don’t take actavis it’s trash accord is better than actavis to me. The ones with a V in the front I can’t recall the brand but those are the best I’ve tried besides teva.
If some medicine from a certain company doesn't work for you, don't take it, simple. Usually there are certain medications which don't work in certain individuals, probably due to their hormones or probably the medicine has not been prepared as per the norms of medical science.
Yes,I had the same experience with Clonazepam. It does not provide much sedation.
I’m sorry for what u and I have to go through to get good medicine, myself I was taking Teva to and months back noticed the clonazepam wasn’t working r something wrong , well it was the pharmacy changed to accord and everything has went to hell with my body and come to look at pharmaceutical company, yes it was accord and I confronted my pharmacy and they said it’s what ever the companies send them, I told pharmacist what’s happening and he didn’t agree, said all medicines generic r name brand r same, hell no, I toldem , but as story is I’m stuck with accord and 15 yrs of this crap and I just can’t quit, so I’m trying to wing myself with this trash accord Clonazepam, which I hate but in Alaska that’s all that’s here, so good luck to u and best wishes to u finding the Teva brand, and thank u for stating as me the accord is no good, headaches, dizziness, etc, and not going to sleep r relaxing, but that’s the rip off we get for paying high Pharmacy’s prices, it’s all about the damn money they make not our health, thank u so much for speaking out about accord,
Re: Tex (# 26)
Please what we need to do is make sure to call the FDA and Accord company that makes the clonazepam. Let them know that you are having a problem.
Re: J (# 13)
Virtually all drugs are made in India or China. Gotta stop blaming china for everything. It's a US company making the dough and missing the QA.
Re: Tex (# 26)
I'm off Clonazepam now, tired of pharmacies s*** and the doctors, so went to a psychiatrist that deals with people getting off there meds and followed his plan. 1 yr later, and after 15 yrs on this death pill, I have no lingering side effects, but do miss it. But the way the world is going and my insurance I couldn't trust them anymore because they kept changing the brands on me (and yes a huge difference from teva to accord), so I decided to quit playing CCP's games on my meds. Couldn't rely on pharmacy to get good meds, so for what it's worth, good luck to all and get help with proper people to get u off clonazepam or go through some scary times. Thanks to all. Good bye and good luck
I'm living in Houston and my walgreens has tevas .5 ,1 ,2mg they are way better then any others. Only difference no score on the back. And the Accod C's are from India and you can tell the difference when it breaks down in your mouth if you let it dissolve it's like clumpy but tevas dissolve more gritty. They said they were discontinued but I guess they had so many complaints or like someone said using activis ingredients. But the only thing with that is they have activis clonazepam and teva clonazepam why make 2 different pills with one company?
YES, A FEW OF MY BUDDYS AND I WERE GETTING THOSE BLUE 1MG ACCORD AND ALL OF US NOTIBED THAT THEY SUCKED. LIKE THEY WERE REAL OLD OR SOMETHING IDK. BUT I HAD MY RX SWITCHED TO WALGREENS. WHO HAVE A CONTRACT W TEVA. ITS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY. THE TEVA ARE MUCH BETTER. I WOULD CHECK IN CHANGING TO WALGREENS. AND HOPE THAT WILL HELP YOUR PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK. AND GOOD HEALTH TO U ALL. TRAVIS
Re: Stirfry (# 14)
Doctors just weened me off the s903 green monsters with the 1MG C-1 , Blue Accords and they definitely work in my opinion coming from a recovering addict.
Re: J (# 13)
I have the opposite reacción. Have been taking a blue clonazepan pill by ACCORD. Worked very good for me. This week CVS didn’t fill my prescription with another manufacture. I feel isn’t working as well. Called many pharmacies , but could find clonazepan 1 mg. From ACCORD manufacture. Frustrating
Teva clonazepan is not working for me. Have used the blue pill made byACCORD for few years , and has been very effective. Disappointed I couldn’t find a pharmacy that had clonazepan made by ACCORD.
I have been on 1/2 tablet Clonazepan by Accord and it has worked great for my PTSD nightmares. This time CVS switched to TEVA. My nightmares have restarted. I have got to talk to my doctor. This is the second time in 10 years and both times this happened. I have to take my husband with me to explain what we are going through. He has to hold on to me to keep me from walking in terror.
I have the opposite. Been on it 30+ years for horrible panic syndrome. Every time my pharmacy switches to Teva it doesn’t work. Accord is great for me. I think everyone is different. Use what works for YOU!
Is another brand of Conazepam available that I'm not aware of other than Solco which I prefer to avoid, or the non Generic which is rather pricey?
I've been taking Accord 0.5mg for years with no issue. Not sure what to do when I run out of my script of Accord cause it doesn't sound like either TEVA or Accord will be on the market anytime soon according to what I got today by both companies!
From Accord: One of the sites that manufactures Accord’s products was subject to an inspection by the FDA that concluded in early December. At the conclusion of the inspection the inspectors issued observations that Accord takes very seriously. As a result, Accord has stopped manufacturing certain products for the US market in that facility and has put products at Accord’s warehouse in the US on hold. Clonazepam is one of those products. Accord is working with FDA to get its products back on the market as soon as possible. No date as of yet will follow up if I get one.
From TEVA (which I've not taken, might have to at this point was told): Teva 1-2mg should be back in action by later this month or Early May. Teva 0.5mg will be back in action late May to early June is what I was told today.
Thoughts anyone?
Re: Veg21 (# 37)
Ugh this is not where I wanted this to be posted, was hoping for a new post not something added to a 2018 one towards the mass shortage on Clonazepam. Wish the Admins allowed this as a post
Re: Veg21 (# 37)
Hey where did you get you info, I have been on accord brand for seven years and, they switched me to solco, with no warning, I started to have really bad side effects after 2 weeks and I can’t find the info on it. None of the pharmacies near me has the brand accord and I’m not sure what to do. So I’m trying to research the problem. You’re the first person to have any information.
Re: Salgal (# 36)
I also have been using the Accord brand for many years with great success. My pharmacy switched to the TEVA brand a month or two ago, and I have had insomnia and crippling daytime anxiety. I called all of the pharmacies in my city today, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid and Walmart and was informed that none of them will be filling Accord now. I don't know where to turn. I think this is outrageous.
