ive been taking this drug for3 days on the 2nd day i woke up very dizzy it lasted from 5am till 1pm,today i woke up dizzy also but not as bad,i am taking 1 tbs of nyquil at bed time and melitonin pills and i also drink 2 glasses of white wine as a sleep aid before bed while watching tv ,are the other products ime useing at bed time causing the dizzyness?? ## Clarithromycin is an antibiotic that is used to treat many types of infections. I am currently using clacee ( 500 mg ) for gum infection ( tooth broken) , and I was wondering , 10 tablets , I am supposed to finish this perscription. shouldn't this be worked out on your length and weight. tablet is oblong about 3/4 inch long. light yellowish orange color. Has the number 7244 on one side and 93 on the other. ## I HAVE BEEN TAKING CLARITHROMYN FOR MY SINUS. I HAVE LOST MY SENSE OF SMELL OR SOMETIMES I HAVE A TERRIBLE SMELL THAT MAKES ME SICK ANY ONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM? ## Clarithromycin can cause an alteration in smell and taste, the problem could also be related to the sinus issue, or it may be both. It should go away once your course of treatment is over. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? ## Yes I lost my sense of smell ever since being prescribed Clarithromycin. I go through bouts where every thing smell like smoke and I don't smoke nor am I near it. I hate this. My quality of life has declined as a result.

Oblog or Oval, light gold, imprint 93 one side 7244 imprint other side, uncoated. ## Sorry, I cannot find any listing with those numbers, the closest I can find is 93 7224, so can you please double check the imprint and let me know? ## The imprint number is correct 93 7244 ___ I cannot find it anywhere. It was delivered from Lyncourt Drugs in Syracuse, NY and made me violently ill. I was vomiting, coudln't stand or visually focus 12 hours after taking ONE pill. I'd been on it for two weeks recently -purchased at a local Rite Aide with no problem. (Don't know that imprint number but the pills looked slightly different). Even a Pharmacist at a Kinney Drugs couldn't find the number. The dispensing Pharmacist Christine Verillo at Lyncourt said she was too busy with customers...
