Citalopram Side Effects

I started taking citalopram about five days ago and am starting to have side affects the doctor told me I wouldn't have. I am experiencing some blurred vision,fatigue,some chest pain,etc... The last thing I asked the doctor was affects to my sexual appetite and performance. I was told there would br no problems.Well I am not able to reach orgasm through sex or masturbation.i go for so long that after a while I start to lose my erection.I'm thinking of Quito g this medication.do the side affects go away after a couple of weeks.

Doctors are deceptive, lying b*****ds; they won't tell you the truth about side effects and they'll tell you they can't be permanent- THIS IS A DANGEROUS LIE; I have complete anhedonia- no positive feelings at all- caused by this poisonous drug which is as strong and mild-altering as heroin- they don't tell you that either. My life's in complete ruins and I only had mild depression before I took CITALOPRAM- I was completely still functioning in my life; now since taking that drug I've done nothing for two years. From day one when I didn't sleep at all and it made me suicidal I have not slept throught the night once and I've felt suicudal every day since

Normally, side effects hit their peak at around 4 to 6 weeks of use, as your body gets used to a medication, then they start to taper off in severity.

However, the chest pain isn't normal for an antidepressant and if it's only been 5 days, then the sexual side effects shouldn't be that severe at this point, either.
