Actually, these two medications aren't generally prescribed together, due to the fact that combining them increases the risk of stimulation of the central nervous system and seizures.
On the Ciprofloxacin Details page under Interactions it says "They may also interact with the GABA A receptor and cause neurological symptoms; this effect is augmented by certain nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs."
