Cipla 159 - Meloxicam

I got into a fight and my nose is swollen, my back hurts and my whole body is sore. Will Meloxicam (Cipla 159) work for me?

Sorry to hear about what happened. I hope you continue to make a full recovery. The pill imprint "Cipla 159" is indicative of Meloxicam 15mg.

Inactive Ingredients:
-Cellulose, Microcrystalline
-Magnesium Stearate
-Sodium Citrate

Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-Inflammatory drug, marketed for use in treating various types of arthritis. It's supposed to help alleviate any tenderness, swelling and pain caused by the inflammation associated with arthritis.

However, 'inflammation' in general is what Meloxicam targets - Therefore it can be beneficial depending upon how severe your pain and swelling may be. Unfortunately the only way to know for certain is to try it and then reassess your pain/inflammation afterwards.

In my opinion, Turmeric (curcumin) could also be beneficial in conjunction with this, but I would still encourage you to talk with your doctor if you have any concerns about Meloxicam not being sufficient enough on its own.
