Cipalopran
Updatedcannot find any info. on the web about this medication. I have been taking a low dose 20 mg. for a few months and seems to work very well. It is prescribed due to family history of depressive/anxiety disorder and recent stressors in my life. I have a friend who was put on zoloft and she is wondering if this may be a better option?

The correct medication name is actually Citalopram, it's an SSRI antidepressant, so it's in the same class as the Sertraline in the Zoloft.
Therefore, their actions are very similar and so are the side effects, which may include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.

There is also no way to say which would be the better the option for any given person, because medications can affect everyone differently. Thus, what works for you may not work for her and vice/versa.
