Chronic Pain Patient Needs Doctor In Arkansas/missouri

I moved from California to Mountain Home, Arkansas (north-central Arkansas) last year & have been unable to find a pain management doctor. I have seen two doctors. The first one accused me of being a "drug addict" on my first visit despite the fact that I brought all of my surgery records, MRI & X-Ray films, discharge instructions (I'd been staying in a nursing home) & my original medication containers. He was rude, abusive, and would actually yell at me during visits. To my great relief, he finally referred me to another pain mgmt. clinic two hours away. But, guess what, I received the same treatment from the new doctor! I don't want to bore you with all the details but will share some of the facts. I have been in a wheelchair for 9 yrs., I've had 2 lumbar surgeries & 1 C-spine surgery, none of which has worked. I am in persistent, excruciating pain, incapable of almost any activity,& often contemplate suicide just to get away from the pain. I had a great team of doctors in CA but when I came to live with my sister in AR...it's like the twilight zone as far as doctors are concerned! Anyway, I am in desperate need of pain relief along with the hope of resuming some sort of functional life. Does anyone know of a doctor or clinic in south Missouri/north-central Arkansas? I am willing to go as far as Springfield, MO and Little Rock, AR. For those of you do, thanks for reading!

Dr. James Frank's in Forrest city Arkansas is a wonderful doctor that is very compassionate and will help with pain medication if you can get in to see him. not sure if he is accepting new patients. 870-630-2500. Good luck!
