Discomfort in back almost like the feeling of getting the flu. switched from storwin to.zuvamor last week, I didn't feel like this on storwin. ## Hello, Lesley! How are you feeling? Zuvamor contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin and it can cause those types of aches as side effects in some people that take it. Why did you change medications? ## Feeling better thanks, my doctor renewed my script after 6 months and said that Zuvamor is a clone of Crestor and is a better option.

I stopped taking my plastics and started using horse chestnut 300 milligram my doctor advised me that I could take them both together but after reading the advice on WebMD um I don't think I should be taking them together I have high cholesterol to stance one of my heart in one of my leg and I just need some help should I take them together ## Hello, Lu! How are you? Are you aware that the horse chestnut isn't actually proven to work? It would have been better to stay on the Plavix and not take it. And since the horse chestnut is a supplement, it hasn't been tested for interactions with prescription medications, so your doctor likely knows more on that. Are you on any other medications?

my mother was on a statin drug for 10 years and she started juicing using carrots some other fruits and veggies and lots of celery. just recently she has been taken off her statin drugs. it worked for her. maybe it will work for others. ## Hello, Patty! How are you and your mother? It is well known that some natural nutrients can help lower cholesterol levels, so she was definitely doing something right. And thank for posting this for others, those Statin drugs can cause some problematic side effects, so not everyone can take them! Is there anything I can help with?

There's no question that Welchol has been moderately effective at lowering my LDL cholesterol, but monthly prescription cost (including Welchol loyalty program discount) has doubled since I started taking it in 2013. Ridiculous! I've found internet references to Welchol being on the market as early as 2005, which means development costs have long since been recovered. Current pricing, which includes a $50 increase within the past 30 days alone, is nothing short of extortion. I'm out! Back to statins which work just as we'll. I can learn to live with the chest pains, but I can never reconcile being taken advantage of. ## Hello Dave! How are you? Rather than the statins, if they are causing you chest pain, you may want to ask about trying something such as Fenofibrate, whi...

can my medication pravastatin 40mg bisoprolol10mg, losartan100 cause me to itch. when i take my medication at night im up all night scratch all over. i find this happens only at night. so im thinking thats when i take these 3 medications and one could be the culpit. What do you think is thiis possible. ## There's a very good chance that it's due to the Losartan and Bisoprolol. Learn more Losartan details here. Learn more Bisoprolol details here. These are blood pressure/cardiac medications, so the very nature of how they work is by acting on your circulatory system and the change in circulation does cause itchiness in some people. I've experienced it myself with the ones that I take. You may get some relief if you take them a little time apart, rather than both at once, such...

What happens to your cholesterol levels when going off lipitor cold turkey? I went off of it two months ago and then got scared about my cholesterol levels. I went off by weaning. First, one full pill then 1/2 pill next day. Did this for almost a week. Then I went to 1/2 pill daily for a week. Then 1/2 pill every other day. Finally I stopped. I had no side effects except feeling great. My greatest concern is my cholesterol levels. Do they sky rocket and if so how much? Also, if I start a niacin, red rice, ubiquinol To regimen will this help. Can I take these while weaning off lipitor? You see, after I went off the lipitor I got scared and went back on it . Thanks for any help anyone can give me. ## Hello, Squeekers10! How are you? When is the last time you had your cholesterol levels ch...
