Are there any bars which are equivalent to the original formulary bars?

From what I could gather, these Choice DM Bars are diabetic snack bars. Some are formulated to prevent hypoglycemia while others are designed to reduce hyperglycemia. These are manufactured by "Mead Johnson Nutritionals".

Since this is considered to be a nutritional supplement, I would think that your best bet would be checking out your local GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. Although I did however find another bar that is meant to be similar to these. It is called Ensure Glucerna (Manufactured by Ross Products Division). These bars are formulated to reduce Hyperglycemia. But there are others listed in the link below that are formulated to prevent Hypoglycemia:

NOTE: It is a proven fact now, that a low fat raw vegan diet can reverse and cure diabetes type 2, and can even control diabetes type 1. This may be something you want to look into.

Thanks a lot for that information. I've tried some snack bars and noticed they now have sugar alcohols in them like malitol, sorbitol, xylitol and a few others that are OK in small quantities. I liked the small size of the Choice DM bars and the fact they did not have sugar alcohols in them. I'll need to search the various stores in your link and explore similar items.
