If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, due to the new regulations set forth by the DEA last year, so you'll most likely need to see a psychiatrist.

The FDA lists benzodiazepines as most commonly being used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. They also carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.

What state and general area are you in? Most cities have a Chinatown, so just saying that isn't enough to enable anyone to recommend a good doctor in you area, if they know of one. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you!
