My daughter was prescribed 4mg Methylprednisolone (6 day) for her poison ivy. She is on her third day and experiencing chest pain and neck pain. Are these symptoms cause for alarm?

The FDA classifies this medication as a steroid, so it can cause some crazy side effects. She may also experience headache, dry mouth, dizziness, acne and fluid retention.
However, since she's having chest pain, it would be best to have things checked out by her doctor to be sure.
