Vistaril is not a benzodiazepine, so it doesn't work the same, though it does have sedative like effects, so it can be used to treat anxiety, panic disorders and insomnia.
On that note, it will likely make you more tired than the Lorazepam did, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience dizziness and dry mouth.
