My doctor has tried me on two different antihistamines now, Loratadine and Cetirizine. Both give me cramps. I have no deficiencies and am in health good. Any ideas anyone? Many thanks. I am in the UK. ## According to the NIH, they have been known to cause leg cramps as a side effect, in some people that take them. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness, and headache. How long did you try each one? Such side effects usually go away, after about 5 to 6 weeks, once your body gets used to a medication. ## I was on Cimetidine for almost two years and Loratidine for three months. Enough time to connect them to leg cramps. The Loratidine also caused me to have very vivid dreams and so I rarely felt refreshed int he mornings! ## I was on Cetirizine about two yea...

cetirizine hydrochloride? This is a round fairly small pill with ZS on one side and 906 on the other. I received them as generic zyrtec but I can't find it on the internet. Is it one possible generic pill for zyrtec? It doesn't seem like it's working for my allergies so I figured I should check it out. usually the generics are white oblong pills. I got them from walgreens. ## I received same pills and no they don't work the same as zertec. I can't find anything on it either. ## Its actually SZ 906 which is Cetirizine which is used for an allergy pill. But if that doesn't help you can take that pill (Cetirizine) and Singulare. ## Yes, this tablet is listed as containing 10mgs of Cetirizine, which is most commonly used to treat, or prevent allergic reactions. Hi, I've been taking Cetirizine 10mg and I take two because I find just the one doesn't really work. The two just takes the edge off... Anyway, I've got these three pills left over in another box for some reason. They are white, round and about the size of a pea. On one side it has the capital letter A and on the other side is a line straight through the middle; I don't know if that's just there for it to be split easier in half or not... Can anyone please tell me whether it is the Cetirizine 10mg or not? It would be much appreciated. I think Benadryl is the best allergy relief tablet even though the doctors say the same ingredient that is in Cetirizine is in Benadryl, but sorry I can definitely tell the difference, thanks xx

Do we get relent syrup seperately for babies or its the same 60ml bottle? Is it safe to give relent+ syrup for 5 months old baby? ## Relent syrup contains cetirizine 2.5 mg + ambroxol 30 mg; per 5mL From what I could gather, the prescribing information for this drug notes the following: Children: 6 month's - 2 years old: 2.5 mg once daily (up to 2.5 mg bid in children =12 months). There are no dosing indications for children under 6 months of age, but since your child is only 1 month away from that, I would suggest talking to your doctor about this just to be on the safe side. I hope this helps! ## If your Paediatric doctor recommend it Relent+ syrup can be given to 6 month old child as dosages suggested by doctor. ## My son is suffering from running and watery nose and 11 months old...

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## 100% incorrect. Certirizine is incredibly effective for headcolds. It clears sinuses way FASTER than a decongestant.

I have long been a poor sleeper, aggravated by cough, sore throat and mucus. Finally I had my stomach stitched; no difference and the medics have lost interest. Cetirizine and inhalers don't help except menthol. Is it possible that an inhaler with benzedrine would help me sleep better? Thanks, Mike. ## Hello, Mike! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're having. Benzedrine is a mixture of amphetamines, so it may help you breathe better, but you'll not likely get much sleep, since it's a stimulant. The FDA also warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as nervousness and headache. What procedure did you have done on your stomach? Have you been checked for GERD? ## Thank you for replying. After persistent coughs...
