I have been prescribed Cefpodoxime 200 MG for 10 days i am half way through my prescription and now I am developing an itchy skin rash. Is this normal and what can I do to treat it. I want to know the difference between novamox and monocef-o, 100. I'm having a kid of 3 years old, he suffering from fever from 1 week. I have been put on 200mg of Cefpodoxime for life. I had an infected TKR (knee replacement) and infection was not stopped. I have had now my third TKR and the doctor has put me on this antibiotic. It has kept the infection away for about a year and a half now but wondering what side effects or concerns I should have. I try to periodically look up anyone that takes antibiotics daily and I can never find anyone. Can I stop at some point? is this bad? I have been suffering from fever from last 6 days. I consulted doctor on 4th day. this reddish orange pill was given for my dog. I think it is a pain pill but can you verify exactly what it is ## I tried to find information on this, but was unsuccessful. If it isn't something that is used in both animals and humans, then I wouldn't expect it to be in the regular prescription databases. Nor will it be if it is only made specifically for veterinary usage. Have you considered calling your vet to ask them?
