Carvedilol Personal Side Effects

I have been on Carvedilol since December. It's better than Bisoprolol was. My side effects still are sometimes I get so cold I can't get warm no matter how many blankets I have on me, etc. Wheezing after walking a short distance, I never used to have that. Some days I feel down right useless. I felt so much better before beta blockers. Is there anything that won't cause wheezing? Currently I'm on 6.25 mg twice a day. Oh and I have no libido, I told my husband I'm gonna buy him a dead fish!

I had the same issues, when taking Carvedilol, though I didn't have a husband then, so that part wasn't a concern. But the FDA does list these issues as being common side effects.

However, due to being cold so often, I finally had to switch to Losartan. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Only your doctor can tell you what is safe for you to try, but it is something you can ask them about trying.

Are you on any other medications?
