It is the active ingredient in Soma, so it is the generic for it.
It is used to treat the pain associated with muscle strains, pain, and spasms. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and drowsiness.
Is there anything else I can help with?
I currently take this medication and it is a muscle relaxer but also used as a sleep aid. It is the same as Soma. It's the generic substitute... I've had good results with it and no side effects except it makes me sleepy.
Carisoprodol is a muscle relaxant. It is used to treat injuries and other painful muscular conditions. I am thinking it's similar to Soma (?)
What is this medication prescribed for?
