Is it okay to take xanax and suboxone and the same time?

I took Xanax 2088 v 0.5 mg four hours ago. Is it safe to take a suboxone?

Has your doctor prescribed them both?

Both of these medications can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could result in dangerously low blood pressure and heart rate. Thus, it may not be safe for you to take them both.

They also both carry the risk of being habit forming.

I was prescribed Xanax and suboxone together. I was also was prescribed Xanax and Methadone together. Yes, it can be a dangerous mix, but some doctors will prescribe them together.

I don't know what planet you reside on but no rationally thinking prescriber would ever allow that cocktail of powerful and possibly lethal pharmaceutical combination to be taken IF THEY WERE AWARE OF IT!!!!

You don't take them together, take the sub in the am say 7 am if during the day you get anxiety at 4 pm take 1/2 milagram of xanax! You can take them, Dr do know their patients, if you really have anxiety some people need these meds know your stuff before you type.

Just got results of a tox screen. Stepdaughter's mom passed 3 weeks ago. She had gabapentin, thc, and Suboxone, and it caused her to have respiratory depression. She had been having problems moving one arm and numbness. Whatever anyone is taking be sure you know the side effects of the combinations.

My doctor gives Me 6mg suboxone, 1mg klonopin x3, and 10mg Ambien.

If you haven’t taken the two before and gotten used to them both, I’d advise against it. I had no trouble taking 1-2mg of xanax on top of 4-8mg of suboxone at the same time, with adderall also in the mix. All were prescribed by the same doctor (yes, she was stupid). Start small but it’s always a better idea to avoid two downers like that at once to avoid the risk of respiratory depression. The most important thing, I repeat, is already having repeated exposure to both alprazolam and suboxone
