Can You Take Ibuprofen (200mg) While On Amoxicillin

I was given the kids liquid form of amoxicillin but please answer for pill form as well. Is it safe to take 1-2 (200mg) of ibuprofen while using the liquid or pill firm amoxicillin?? My need for the antibiotic was for strep throat and now that I've finished it my wisdom teeth are coming through, so I'd prefer to take ibuprofen for the pain of these teeth coming through.

I read somewhere that taking ibuprofen while on antibiotics could give ypu a high chance of convulsion seizures is that true ??

I've not found anything of the sort listed, though it is always best to double check to be sure, but I have checked multiple sources and found nothing showing any negative interactions. Have you asked your pharmacist to check for you?

I've taken them together, before, under doctor's orders, but we are all different.

The FDA also warns that the Ibuprofen should be taken with food, to prevent stomach irritation.
