Can I Get Kicked Out Of The Suboxone Program For 1 Positive Urine Test ?

I have been in the program for over a year initially paying 200 dollars bi-weekly then monthly. I have never failed a drug test in that time. Unfortunately I had half my last months script stolen and ran out after 3 days I slipped up due to the stomach ache and took methadone pills for 2 days about 20 mg a day then found some subs so total methadone was about 50-60 mg over 2 days. I made it thru and went to my monthly appointment on tuesday only to have my doctor of over a year immediately kick me out of the program for a dirty urine (first one in 14 months) no counseling no help just f*** you get out. He claimed the dip test showed a tiny amount of methadone . He just booted me with nothing didn't ask any questions nor would he discuss it. Is this legal? I am f***ed I found a doctor that accepts insurance but cant get in til the end of march , Do I have any recourse? or does anyone know of a sub doctor that takes insurance in the Buffalo NY area? I need help I do not want to go back to opiates !!!!!

Wow... that is so messed up! Ive been on Suboxone for 9 months now and in this time ive had 3 slip ups with benzos and my doctor sat down and spoke with me about it and made my urine screens more frequent. Im not sure if what your doctor did was legal or not but it sounds like he wasn't a good doctor anyways... clearly not caring and just in it for the money. there are better doctors out there who would have handled your situation differently. Just google Sub doctors in your area... im sure you will find a better one. till then... just keep trying to stay away from the opiates as much as you possibly can!!! i would try to find sub or done on the st. in the meantime. and maybe try to ween yourself off a lil so you aren't in pain till u find another doctor. also if you get cravings my therapist always told me to just take a Benadryl and just check out for the day and go to sleep. I dunno... i hope ive helped. itll be alright just keep trying to do your best to stay away from the ops. God bless. -Jillian

I am so worried I have been in a suboxone program going on 5 months tomorrow.I have never had a dirty urine until just today..and the reason being is I had an appt thursday and I missed it due to them switching it from friday to thursday when I realized it friday morning I called them to reschedule they rescheduled it for tues i told them I didnt have enough to hold me over they said there was nothing they could due cause the dr wasnt in until monday.so all weekend I was withdrawling come monday it was unbearable I called first thing in am dr wasnt going to be in till afternoon so I called back then theres nothing he could due till he seen me tuesday the nurses said at that point pain was so unbearable I went and used a half of bag of herion just to get me out of pain.I just couldnt take no more I couldnt sleep no more even took night time sleepaid..and I just tossed n turned I was so uncomfortable I felt like ten times worse than herion withdrawl.im so worried that when they get my test results back I will be kicked out of the program for this slip up.im going for group in realapse prevention due to this slip up.does anyone have any insight in what my consequences might be.im so scared I might have to go thru this withdrawl due to my slip up..thanks for any insight u might haveto help me in this situation

Methadone has a LONG after life i took 10mg and 3 weeks later failed my mo.thly ua. So try to find clean pee or tell them the truth. I found out telling them the truth gets u further than lying to them!!

Failed my drug screen Ben taking suboxone from my doc 6 months now. Failed my last test I got a letter in mail yesterday saying next appointment is canceled but she can only treat me for emergencies only until 30 days is up. Thinking after work today goin to talk to her just let her know ran short took methadome 3 days y'all think it's any use in taking to her? We had a great relationship i fill like??
