Can Melatonin Come Up As A Benzodiazepene?

I only take 5mg of a Melatonin supplement, but my toxicology test is coming back as positive for benzodiazepenes. Is that possible?

Hmmm, it shouldn't - your body produces melatonin naturally anyways. Did you take any other supplement or medications recently? Perhaps Valium (Diazepam)? There are some other threads on here discussing similar questions - with anecdotal reports of melatonin causing weird results in lab work... although I can't find anything scientific on it.
