Yes, it can be made by compounding pharmacists.....only problem is that it is time-consuming to make and will cost quite a bit...

only place i have found bgo is by looking in old country stores. some of them had a medical section where they will have a dusty supply of it. ocassionally an old mom and pop type drug store will have a jar or two in their storage.

I have recently been informed about the healing properties of BGO Cream by a coworker. My wife and I own a Pharmacy named Beasley Drug Company with access to a compounding lab and are interested in discovering the formulation of B-G-O Ointment. The compounding laws are very specific, so when we figure out a similar equivalent, we will only be able to compound on request. I'll keep you informed of how the process goes and price. If anyone knows the percentages of the cream, it would be much appreciated.

The pharmacist at my local compounding pharmacy was able to find the formula for BGO and my holistic doctor was happy to write the prescription for it. It is an amazing all purpose salve that will prevent a burn from blistering.

I could not find BGO anywhere and a local drugstore sold me Resinol. It is very similar in color and consistency, but I’m not sure if the ingredients are the same. It may not be BGO, but it is a good product.
