Can Ecosprin 150mg and Plavix be used together. When it is used for same proeprties ie blood thinning then why doctors prescribe together

They can be used together, because they both work in different ways to achieve the desired effect and, sometimes a person may still have clotting issues if they just use one medication.

Thanks. My husband had an episode of TIA and was advised ecosprin by neurologist. One of my family friend who is a neuro radiologist suggested us to add plavix as well whereas neurologist treating my husband doesn't recommend same. So i am not sure what is best to do in such a scenario. It has been over a month now that my husband had that episode.
