Can Betamox Cause Your Heart To Beat Extra Fast?
UpdatedHello. So my doctor prescribed Betamox for my cold and after ingesting it my heart is racing like a wildfire. Could this be because of the Betamox?

It is hard to say, it could be due to the infection, or the medication, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
However, since a cold is caused by a virus, this medication will not do anything to help alleviate it. This medication is only effective at treating, or preventing bacterial infections.
How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
