Camber Pharmaceuticals Generic Percocet (Page 8)

Updated

Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction?

Re: Lildarlin (# 140) Expand Referenced Message

Unfortunately no one of any importance cares... We're just 3rd class citizens in a failed war on drugs, we're the newest victims and we have ZERO allies in our plight! That pretty much sums it up...

Ok naloxone, yes you that have been added to the GENERIC pain pills, thank you for adding yet another side effect to my already long and growing list, metallic salty taste in my mouth, although it's not as bad as the stomach issues and intestinal pain, the migraine headache, extreme weakness, no appetite, sweating / chills, extreme fatigue, I guess I can live with all of that AND the chronic pain. Thank you government for fighting the opioid epidemic by saving the lives of the abusers. I guess that if I'm writing this, I too have been classified as a drug abuser and need saving, gee, wish I felt like I was being saved and not thrown into the garbage. My Camber oxycodone t193 bulls*** pill is ruining my life and I guess because I'm not an addict, there is no hope living in hell. America the great?

Watch out for tylenol otc having crosspovidone (formaldehyde) as well as Camber generic oxycodone with tylenol...double dose and if you take Pepsid more Crosspovidone (formaldehyde)! Check those ingredients!

So sorry that you are suffering from the pain and from the drug, I to am suffering, I read your post many many posts ago and took the time to hunt it back down because you mentioned that your muscles are wasting away, MINE are too, it's happening very fast, I would say three or four months, with noticeable skin thinning also. I mentioned it to my primary, he said "well, you aren't getting any younger" yeah, I know that and except aging as a part of life, but THIS is happening right before my eyes, I'm only 53 and had an amazing body that now is starting to look like that of a 70 year old woman, no disrespect there. Why am I wasting away so fast, what the hell are they putting in my pain medication!! Hmmm, maybe it was that last epidural spinal injection, it certainly seems to coincide, I don't know, this whole roller coaster ride is driving me into a pit of disparity and disbelief. I don't trust the government, FDA and now the dr's that are supposed to have my back, I to am scared and hurting and wasting away from the treatment plan that's supposed to be healing me. Seriously, I think that they are trying to kill us. Flushing out the swamp and throwing us right into it along with all of the other swamp creatures. I'm trying my dam best to hold my head up in this thick muck but feel like I'm loosing. Sad sad sad. You are not alone my friend!!!

What you read on the internet about crospovidone will tell you that few people have a reaction to it. I spoke to the independent pharmacy (always gives me the truth) a couple weeks ago and he said; "that is not true. He has many people very allergic to that and has compounded their medication." I talked about the povidone vs. the crospovidone. It seems as though the povidone is iodine but the crospovidone is the problem because its a mixture of some kind. I told him that the crospovidone mention formaldehyde. He raised his voice and said; "That too". I ask him how we are supposed to figure out what poison they are putting in all of generic meds. He said as pharmacist, we have a hell of time figuring it out. I called him because i have off the Camber and back Actavis since Jan. 24th and my symptoms are IBS and acid reflux. Well unknowingly, I pulled out a script I had from last year for Omeprazole (generic for Prilosec) that was prescribed in the ER for chest pain. It was not the problem and it made me sick after a few days. It desperation and no concern by doctors, I decided to try it. After few days and symptoms got worse, I looked it up and Mylan omeprazole has crospovidone as the second ingredient. He told me please do not take that.

Anyhow my throat still hurts and other symptoms are that of irritable bowel. Other symptoms have improved since being off Camber and it treats pain better. Now, I had lung cancer surgery last year and I dont wont another high dose CT scan. The doctors have done too many. I have requested an MR of the chest, abdomen and pelvis. Waiting approval from the insurance company. Also, i need to schedule an endoscopy to find out whats going on. I just KNOW that this all started with the Camber percocet. Actavis tells me there formula only has povidone but they tell me the ingredients are proprietary. In other words; none of business. Frankly if a pharmacist cant trust whats in these generics, how can we. I really believe this problem is connected to other irresponsible guidelines by the CDC on opioids. I think its all political and people that have never had to deal with chronic pain ignorantly condone this mess; which made up by politicians who continually make things worse when there pandering for votes. Take a look at CVS (not Walgreens yet) new limits for opioids/limits for on state news.

The suck a.. government we have has got on the band wagon with a few influential peoples, relatives or friends that overdosed or abused opioids. Im sorry for their loss but people with abuse tendencies show signs and when they show these signs try to help them don't try to hurt people who need opioids to live some what of a normal live because of chronic pain. Opioids only stop about 25% of pain its the euphoria filling that it give you that makes life livable for people with chronic pain. So now that they have put blockers in pain medicine to stops that feeling you are left to deal with 75% of your pain. Doctors and pharmaceutical co. know this! This is the governments way that they think they can stop opioid deaths. If people cant get that feeling that opioids give you to cope with pain then abusers want seek them so will protect them and hurt chronic pain people. (is this the new American way) hurt me because of something someone does? I personally think this opioid crises is nothing but like I said a few influential people that lost or had a friend or family member that abused opioids. They don't care about people with chronic pain nor does the government. The governments just want these people off their backs. What I don't under stand is why do people with chronic pain have to suffer for the actions of people who choose to abuse opioids, People abuse a lot of thing from twinkies to alcohol are we going to stop put alcohol in beer, liquor and wine "hell no" every one on capital hill would go crazy without a drink to get through the day. So MR GOVERNMENT put the opioid pills back the way they were and hold people accountable for their on actions and not other people, stop playing blame game these are grown ass people.

Exactly my thought as well! There has to be an attorney out there willing to take on a legal suit against BIG PHARMA for the behind the scenes changing the percocet brand & generics in an effort to save abuser’s from misuse/overdose over the livelihoods of us GOOD CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS! They’re slowly killing us as their true mission is to control the population as another factor as well as in the so-called preventative “well meds” also loaded w/ dangerous fillers.

Yall, I have been so very sick with my stomach as it started bleeding 4 days ago. I've never had stomach problems in my life until I started taking that camber Percocet. At first I was throwing up any kind of liquid in my stomach when no food was there. That's how sick I was to my stomach. It felt like the lining was coming out it hurt so bad. Then it started bleeding. I was throwing up Blood, and burping it up. Yes my muscles were waiting away right in front of my eyes and I've always been very fit. Petit, and fit. I have been in the bed everyday except 4 days for a month. My doc appt. Is tomorrow to get my new SCRIPT. I'm so scard I have very serious damage to my stomach. I will pray for each and every one of you. We are all a family of chronic pain. This has to stop. This is literally killing us... :(:(

Re: MeJane (# 149) Expand Referenced Message

I contacted Bisnar and chase. They are large firm of attorneys who handle pharmaceutical suits and personal injury, etc. I spent a long time detailing the issues with side effects and non regulated inactive ingred being manufactured and bought in other countries for by Drug Companys. They wrote back and said; "They only handle catastrophic cases." ; yet their site pops up on sites like this. That happened after I contacted them until I clicked onto "stop receiving add". I felt like saying; "when I die, I will have my family contact you for help".

What is happening to our health? Many of us here already suffering from chronic pain is catastrophic! My head explodes every waking moment, my stomach is in awful shape bleeding and all, my nervous system is completely unraveled, my pain is worse than it has ever been and the stuff they are putting in our meds is poison to the human body. Formaldehyde can cause major damage breathing the fumes. Remember the trailers? After Katrina? They had to stop letting people live in them because breathing too much FORMALDEHYDE. Now we are administering it intravenously (crospovidone) everyday. It's deadly! I feel like I am dying.

Re: Lildarlin (# 152) Expand Referenced Message

I know; it's just cruel. So you have never been able to get the Actavis back...correct? If not, I hope you can at least accomplish that. The physical side effects are bad and then we have to deal with the anger of what's being hidden from us. I hold the FDA directly responsible for this. I'm wondering if anyone here has been back on the Actavis, like myself; yet still having stomach and throat issues? I would love to know.

Re: Bella (# 147) Expand Referenced Message

Ask your pharmacist what they are putting in all opioids to block the euphoria feeling. The feeling when the pituitary gland produces a hormone called oxytocin. The warm, fuzzy, happy, motivated and the feeling of well being feeling you feel when you take opioids. That feeling accounts for 75% of your pain relief and the opioids account for 25%.

Re: nomas (# 155) Expand Referenced Message

I can ask that question. However as i said in a comment today; the independent pharmacist told me that they have a very hard time trying to find out the exact formulas and ingredients. Interesting though. I did not know that.

I used Walgreens for years all the way up until i had an issue with my prescription for Percocet being filled with Camber pills instead of what i had been getting normally. First, I think the pharmacy should verbally tell you there was a change. I shouldn't get home and go to use my meds for the first time since my refill and have my first reaction be "what the heck are these" then see a green sticker on the side of the bottle stating the size, shape or color may be different but this is the same drug you have been getting. I thought nothing of it at first. But the Camber pills made me ridiculously sick. I took the 5/325 pills and i suffered intense nausea, vomited up a fair few of the pills. By the way, when you start puking smurf blue there's a problem. I had migraines. I called the pharmacy only to be told I accepted the medication. Once it goes over the counter there is nothing they can do. They also informed me that the switch to Camber was permanent. My dr called to see if they would order the Actavis pills since the Camber ones were making me sick, nope. I went to the Camber site and was shocked to see under the allergen info "dye free" when the ingredients clearly listed dyes (blue for my dosage). I had the most ridiculously hard time getting the pills replaced. Nobody would take back the Camber pills. Everywhere I went just pointed me to their drop box. But my dr would not write a new script without proof i disposed of the pills I had. I couldn't give them to the dr's office. They couldn't legally handle them.

They told me to surrender them to the police department, who also couldn't handle them. I was told to just put them in the drop box. In the mean time i kept puking blue and if i didn't get sick I was nauseous, had the worst headaches. I complained to Camber, mostly about their allergen info being incorrect. They emailed me back with a link basically calling me a liar. They had flxed it, but I had taken a screenshot. So nice try Camber. I reported them to the FDA with copies of the screenshots. Turns out I have an allergy to the blue dye. I was eventually able to get rid of the Camber pills and get a new script from a local pharmacy the was able to verify what they use and it is now on my record to not be given any meds with blue dye. But it took weeks to get sorted out. And i was left with the option to take pills that are making me sick or go through withdrawals and suffer in pain. Which is crap. Now i keep getting contacted by reps from Ascent Pharmaceuticals wanting me to fill out their forms. They also tried to claim they never listed the drug as "dye free" -again nice try, i still have the screenshot, which i sent back to them. I also asked them to leave me alone. I switched pharmacies, i will not accept any medication they make, ever. I just had spine surgery and I don't feel like dealing with them. I filed many complaints. They make poison. And now i know Walgreens will carry anything to make money.

Re: Bella (# 147) Expand Referenced Message

I was so surprised to find Pepsid and some brands of Tylenol have Crosspovidone listed in their ingreffients as well. I'm sure it is related to the frequency and compounding of volume. If each tylenol and oxycodone has formaldehyde we are getting pickled and then the doc orders Pepsid to help adding more formaldehyde. 1 know genetics play a part with alcohol processint and they could too with these ingredients. Best to separate the oxy from the tylenol and just get as pure ingredients, non Camber as possible.

Re: nomas (# 155) Expand Referenced Message

I’m convinced FDA’s secretly added NALAXONE an opiod antagonist filler to new Percocet et al opiod pain meds to deflect addicts from wanting a “high” from them. I consider this to be unlawful & victimizing to all who take this PERCOCET LEGALLY FOR MEDICAL REASONS! Would appreciate your thoughts on this Nomas & all. We’re in this together & need to figure this out as its detrimental to our health & well-being. If need be might be time to proceed legally. Petitions dont seem to be acknowledged so what’snext to do. I hate legal paperwork but what choice do we have?!?
