Camber Pharmaceuticals Generic Percocet (Page 15)

Updated

Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction?

I TOOK THIS OFF ANOTHER MEDSCHAT POST. WE ARE SCREWED BIG TIME...

"I got a report from someone who works for the FDA and they are working with the DEA & Rhodes to cut up to 70% of the opioid in generic Percocet since they are the most abused medicine. They plan to discontinue use of opioids altogether by the year 2021 -Only hospitals will be able to give you opioids. All the complaints, I was told are useless because this is the plan that's been going on since 2014. You can read more of the report I put on MedsChat titled, "Percocet Generic Report On Phasing Out Opioids By The Year 2021". I was shocked at what the FDA along with the DEA are doing behind the backs of the sick people. I will say in the report Rhodes Pharmaceuticals are cutting a 10mg generic Percocet to 4% & a 5mg are 2% of the active ingredient. Also putting toxic fillers that hurt your stomach to make ppl not want to take Percocet at all. I was wondering after reading all the complaints against Rhodes Pharmaceuticals that nothing is being done to investigate this company & other wrongdoers. Hope you get to read what's in the report. And they say America is the land of the free?"

Who are the reports from; the FDA (-: Are they just sending this packet to tell you there is no problem. Are they asking you to file a grievance.. Reminds of the state medicaid with BS grievances. Im sorry, I just dont think it will go anywhere; unless Doctors file complaints. These people have high powered attorneys on there side. As I said once, I contacted a law firm that deals with harm done by generic drugs. They only take catastrophic cases. In other words, you have to prove serious damage and it would take doctors to support you. I dont mean to be pessimistic and I havent see the paper work but I have dealt with this bs before. Maybe if she calls for the fourth time, I will pick up. If do, I will say if your distributing the drug, we have nothing to talk about. I dont know. Talk to you later.

Im a fighter and not one to give up. However, Im learning that sometimes we have pick our battles for our own good. I will see how my MRI comes but I have more going on than that. I will do everything possible to stay away from any medication made by Camber manufac. If I cant get it the Actavis any more at my Wallgreens, I will switch to the independent pharmacy. I believe he said he could order it. Otherwise, I will take my chance with another manufacturer.

Seems like this approach from Camber is nothing but a formality.

Omg! I can’t believe how we’ve all been victimized by this generic Camber & others. I swear before this amazing medschat site I thought I was suddenly terminally ill &/or losing my mind! Can you please post the phone # & info as to who at Camber I can register my complaint? Rhodes percocet as well & Amneal. I’m not myself after years of no problems with all same symptoms as you all for the last 6-7 months! I feel like I’m taking poison & my pharmacist I feel treats me like an addict when I complain. We must fight this & get the REAL PERCOCET BACK!

U might be right but the first letter does list my complaints. That should hold up for not having to get camber but in another part it's just babble that a good attorney didn't even right up. It came from ACCENT pharmacutucles themselves. The company that makes the Percocet for camber. Why on earth would they list batches that don't match each other chemical wise? As far as different amounts of medication in it. Why did they even send it to me? It's worth looking in to i think

Did u get a large packet from Fed ex? Why would they even take the time with phone numbers, addresses, and my original complaint. It looks like a medical record. I don't understand st all.

Re: Lildarlin (# 287) Expand Referenced Message

Ok... on the second letter it does me some good according to my doctor and pharmacist because they are tell g me to show this to my doctor and PHARMACIST AND TO NOT TAKE THEIR BRAND, BUT ANOTHER KIND. Ok I skimmed over this last night and now as I read it, it's not only my complaint, but they have my symptoms ( all if them) as if they are talking to someone other than myself. For them to tell me Not to take the camber brand made by accent... I'm sorry folks but it sounds like they know something is wrong with at least the 10/325 Percocet. My own doctor smelled the vinegar, noted it in my records. He could be the one helping me Not take this mess anymore. I'm taking it to my appointment Thursday for the light down my stomach, pain doc, and pharmacist. I want to hear what they have to say when their company is retelling me Not to take camber anymore

Re: MeJane (# 285) Expand Referenced Message

I will post the numbers and address. It's not camber but it's accent PHARMACUTUCLES in Net York who supplies it to Camber. I still think they are one of the same but I'm going to do some more reading. I kinda feel like I'm a bit mad at for posting my packet. Since I can't post the letters on here, especially the one where it tells me to show my doctor and PHARMACIST, so I won't get the camber brand again. That alone tells me they have something to hide. I don't mean u MeJane that may be a but upset with me. From others I just feel I got negative instead of positive response. We can't post things so nobody know what things say. I will post the numbers , fax, and addresses after I talk to my doctor about it and show him. Yes they may have good attorneys but u know of some darn good malpractice attorneys as well. Be well Jane. Talk to u soon.

That's the thing. It's not emails I got from them. I wrote, I've explained and they even told me not to take the drug anymore in a letter through the postal mail. My packet is from FedEx. Said to show it to my doctor and pharmacist so I would get another brand and not theirs. I'm sorry if I have made some of you upset. It's not emails from them. It's papers and letters from postal mail.

Re: Lildarlin (# 291) Expand Referenced Message

I was never mad at anything you posted. I'm mad at the companies that are making this garbage. With the help of my doctor I was able to find a new pharmacy and no longer have to take the Camber pills. Although I still feel sick all the time now. I'm glad you have something in writing from them to help with your doctor and pharmacist. My hope is with enough complaints their product is recalled. Good luck with your test. It's a good idea to bring that paperwork with you. That way if you have any permanent damage you have that information. It also may help the doctors know what to look for.

Thankyou for reply! It’s all good. I can figure it out where to report complaints. Main thing is we are helping each other & others to reassure us all there’s something really wrong; not just w/this generic percocet but all of them. I met w/my Dr. & he told me YES; the formula has indeed changed in generic percocet in last 6 mos. The fillers!

If anyone's wondering, this is what Camber Pharma lists as the inactive ingredients (fillers) on their page:

Inactive Ingredients:

- colloidal silicon dioxide
- croscarmellose sodium
- crospovidone
- microcrystalline cellulose
- povidone
- pregelatinized starch
- stearic acid.

Specific to doses:

2.5/325mg contains FD&C Red #40

5/325MG contains FD&C Blue #1

7.5/325MG contains FD&C Yellow #6

10/325MG contains D&C Yellow #10

Active ingredients in generics can fluctuate by as much as TWENTY PERCENT, so instead of ten mg oxy u get EIGHT AND SCREWED.

Re: Jen (# 292) Expand Referenced Message

Thank u. I think we are all very upset because the government is playing with our pain. What makes me so angry is pain pills were made for a reason. OUR REASON. SEVERE CHRONIC PAIN. There are too many people in this world that could not survive without them. Millions of job losses without their medication, as this would effect coast to coast business if u think about it. Job losses from millions of drug stores, job losses from factories, and the list goes on and on. They say jobs are up now??? If they keep messing around with our lifeline medication to get out in the world every day just to go get a loaf of bread, that loaf of bread will just sit on the shelf if my medicines were taken away. More jobs loss. Gas not bought as much, car sales down, every business I can think of would be down because millions of chronic pain people run the USA and keep it up and running. Wonder if the ones who are doing this to us have actually thought about all of this. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Re: Roy (# 294) Expand Referenced Message

That is a weird kind of starch I noticed when I read this before. Usually there is one or the other, crosprovidone or Providone. Too much FORMALDEHYDE. Too many fillers not needed.

Yes. My Dr told me. It’s very unfair especially to not have been informed as if FDA just “chose”to trick us treating us as “experimental statistics” instead of human beings :(

I will post the address and phone number off the packet, where it came from when I get home. Out getting things ready to have the light put down in my stomach tomorrow. The way it feels from the Camber, no telling what I will see when I wake up. Look for it this afternoon if they approve it. Sometimes it takes a few days before it shows up but I sure will for u all. Take care
