Cbd Oil Or Pills For Pain Management

Updated

I too am a chronic pain patient seeing a pain management dr. After hearing the news today of what Ohio's governor is now requiring of that states opioid taking patients & drs. it makes me really anxious about what our governor in WI will do. Looking ahead, incase situations become worse, I am curious to know if anyone has tried CBD oil or pills? I am considering the pill form, I just need to find the proper dosage. If anyone has any info I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

I went to see my PM Doctor last week, he told me to go have some marijuana!!! I live in RI, medical MJ is legal, Mass recreational MJ is legal. I tried Vaping the Oil..GROSS, even cutting it with my sweetest juice. I did feel something, but nothing close to Klonopin 1mg. So I took 3 hits of Medical MJ. I can see how it helped 20 years ago. But now I have an 18 yr old and if he needed me I wouldn't be "there" for him. It's 2 1/2 eye droppers a dose to vape. I would try the pills. My oil was 300mg.

It has been a while since I posted abt trying either the cbd oil or pill form. So I have tried both. Initially the oil, not knowing there is flavored oil out there I just ordered plain old cbd oil. Wow, tasted like thick butter mixed with mulched grass if I can assume what that would taste like. Anyway, gag reflex, could not stop. Ordered the pill form. Just abt $58 for 15 pills, didn't know so few pills till got the bottle but site willing to reduce cost if worked. So sad & disappointed, took 4 at a time & no relief. I do have really high pain tolerance even when young & do not know if this has anything to do with it not working. It appears that it works great for many people. So just continuing on with my pmd & hoping for the best.

What is your opinion on CBD oil for pain? I have had injections and pain meds & I am currently on 45 mg of morphine and it does nothing. I've lived with back and neck problems for now 2 yrs and my doc is not doing much.

I vape it and it helps with my anxiety and relaxes me, but I have a clear head and can still work. There are a bunch of edibles of CBD. They have gummy bears, licorice, mostly that kind of snacks. They work good for pain, but they are on the expensive side. I vape my regular juice, but don't mix it. I put a few drops down the tip, so I can get as much CBD as I need without destroying a good tank of juice.

I have not tried CBD products but I too would love to. I talked to someone that lives in central Ohio, as do I & she told me edibles were available at the carry-out located at Northern Lights shopping Center on Cleveland Ave on Cols. If & when I get that way, I will try them & let you know. I too suffer with chronic pain. Fingers crossed.
