Buspirone And Memory Blackout

Has anyone had a bad reaction like I recently experienced? I was super stressed out and normally I take ativan for my anxiety, but was out and have been for a few months since I want to change doctor. Instead I had some of the teva 54 buspirone and a klonopin and I was so stressed about leaving my apt but really wanted to go to an event with a friend. So I took the buspirone and I blacked out and woke up in bed. Didn't remember a thing after taking it but I was ready to walk out the door. My friend tells me we never went to the event because I was lookin for something in our dumpster and when he asked if I wanted to go I told him I was doing something. This is so embarrassing and disappointing etc... As you can imagine. I have had the medication before and slept a lot and remember thinking that hey didn't have much of an effect. so I don't know if this was a common thing but I don't remember not knowing what I was doing. Very scary waking up like that.

How much did you take? Was it just one dose, or more? Did you also take the Klonopin?

Buspirone has been known to cause issues with memory recall, and amnesia as side effects in some people that take it, according to FDA reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.

Taking too much of it, or combining it with some other medications could worsen such side effects.
