Building Up Tolerance To Suboxone

What do you do when your tolerance builds up to Suboxone? I am on 16 mg a day and it is not keeping me from wanting to use. Should i ask my doctor to up my dosage, or should I ask about a different drug? Need any answer, this subject is no where on the internet.

Suboxone is not actually meant to do away with the cravings that result from an addictive personality and drug abuse.

It is meant to help prevent withdrawals by helping you taper off your addiction to other medications, it will not help with the associated mental issues of craving them.

There may be something else you can use to help with that, I am not sure, you really need to discuss it with your doctor.

The only other one that is usually used for addiction is Methadone, have you considered looking into it?

i have been on suboxone for almost 8 months, in my treatment center if sumone is havin cravings or anything like that the doctor will usually up your dosage, i would recomend you speak with your doctor an see if they can do that for you.... good luck!!
