Blue Liquid Medicine, 1950's?

Hello!

I'm trying to help someone remember a medication, and can't find anything close to it's description. I was told that it is a bright light blue (aqua?) liquid, possibly in a clear bottle, and it tasted a lot like Turpin hydrate. It was given to her for anxiety, but we don't know exactly what it was, or way it was meant for.

She was given it in the 1950's, if that helps.

If anyone can remember what it is, she would appreciate it.

Hi Christine,

Unfortunately, I'm also having trouble finding information about this mystery medication; but I did read that Terpin Hydrate +Codeine has been used for anxiety even though it is primarily used as an expectorant and cough suppressant. Maybe in the 1950's it was used more for anxiety? I wish I knew more, but I hope this helps you with your search somehow!
