Blood Sugar Level

I have recently found out that my sugar level in my blood is 170. Took a zpack streroids for plantars facia, 60 days ago. Began taking metFORMIN 40 days ago. Also have hypoglycemia (take levothyroxine 150mcg). Also have arthritis take sulfasalazine, plaquenal and mobic. I am male, 52 yrs old, 30 to 40 pds overweight. Is it possible the blood count is still high from taking the steroids? Should I expect it to go back to normal in any certain time? Feel like dr.s are overreacting to level of sugar in my blood.

A Z-Pack doesn't contain steroids, it contains the antibiotic Azithromycin and that shouldn't upset your blood sugar levels. It is also doubtful that a steroid would still have an effect on them 60 days later.

And Hypglycemia is high blood sugar/diabetes and wouldn't be treated with Levothyroxine, that's used for treating Thyroid disorders. The medication to treat diabetes is your Metformin.
