What are the side effects of drinking while taking this durg? I am also scared to start taking this medicine, I am 28 years old. I shouldn't have high blood pressure or heart problems. What should I do? ## Unfortunately, blood pressure and heart problems can strike at any age and if you have them then treatment is necessary, unless you want to suffer a stroke or possible death at 30. Before you cut back on an essential medication, you should really consult with your doctor. What medication is it and why do you feel a need to cut back? It is essential to keep your blood pressure under control, if this requires medication, there aren't a lot of other options. If your blood pressure gets out of control, you run the risk of severe health conditions, such as stroke.

i have been taking metoprolol 50mg and just refilled the new pills are larger and have 369 stamped on one side and scored on the other. ## Is that the only marking? ## I, too, got a refill of Metoprolol succ ER 50 MG and noticed the change in pill size, larger, 369 printed on front and scored on back; questioned the pharmacist and change of manufacturer was the response. ## I think there could be more than 50mg in that large of a pill. I take Coreg CR in the morning (that is what is recommended on the insert) however, it makes me very dizzy for about three to four hours. Would it be okay to take in the evening? What is the purpose of taking this in the a.m.? ## Coreg CR contains the active ingredient Carvedilol, it is most commonly used to treat congestive heart failure.
