I am 58 years of age. Just 10 days back I started Thelma H 40 mg for BP 160/90 as advised by my doctor. After using it for 8 days I got dizziness, frequent urination and a light strain on my right side. So I consulted my doctor and am now taking Telsartan 40. My BP is now 120/80. How long should I use 40 mgs for? Can I reduce to 20 mgs? Please advise. Also which is better, Thelma H 20 mg or Telsartan 20 mg? ## You should take the medication and dosage that your doctor has told you take, unless they direct you to make changes. I need to view medication that are healthy alternative for Amlodipine ## What alternative medication if any that could be suggested for amlodipine. I am researching. I know that my doctor has the last word. This one is causing serious swelling of my feet. Is it correct to assume that this medication is exclusive and no other can replace it? I found a small round white tablet marked C 14 in my house and would like to find out what this pill is used for. The reverse side has a notch in it. ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is identified as Benicar (olmesartan) 20 mg; used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Manufacturer: Sankyo Pharma National Drug Code (NDC): 65597-0103 NOTE: This pill however, is white and round with "C 14" on one side and "SANKYO" on the other. Atenolol 25mg marked Z & 65 is no longer supplied by CVS. Label say Mfr.: M'Ckrodt Spec not available @ Walgreen nor Rite Aid. Has anyone experienced migraine headaches while taking Amlodipine? ## No headaches but watched my blood pressure increase up to 200/95 immediately after it was swallowed. In the beginning it was okay but they changed manufacturers and who knows what inactive ingredients were added. Quit taking it and now only take Brand name Dyazide 37.5mg/25 mg capsule once a day in the morning same time every day. I even tried brand name NORVASC (amlodipine besylate) and that increased my blood pressure up to stroke levels. ## I have had no problem with Amlodipine. It has finally been the answer to my blood pressure problems. I was given 2.5 mg and it didn't help much but my doctor added another 2.5 mg at night and it's been wonderful. Hi All. My blood pressure is 120/70 and my Dr. has given me Metoral xl 25 and Eptus 25. I Googled and found out that both medications are for treating high blood pressure. Can you suggest why he gave me 2 meds for lowering my blood pressure? Should I take both or any one of them? If so, which one?

I too just received the refill for my Mom's 10 mg Lisinopril tabs from Lupin Pharmacy,and have discovered they are half the size of the ones she has been taking for years. She is 93 years old, is very feeble, and uses a walker to get around. I am extremely concerned about whether or not to give her these new pills as I have read all the side effects people are experiencing. If she was to get dizzy or lightheaded the results could be disastrous. Is urbanol safe to take if your suffering from hypertension and did not take your hypertension meds for that day, for hypertension im currently on 8 mg Perindopril. I suffer from anxiety however the main symptoms that i experience is numbness in the arms and legs and a fear of dying,I can be in confined to small spaces for to long and feel like im loosing it. I've been taking lisinopril 20mg for more than 20 years. I have had side effects that come and go, such as coughing, lightheadedness, and dizziness. But now I have lightheadedness and dizziness all the time. Frequent urination, legs are weak, sometimes when I am walking I feel like I am going to pass out; and ED problems. my toes have gradually lost sensation over the past three or four years and I get the most excruciating itching on the soles of my feet.
