Bisop/hctz

my mother in law had an irregular heartbeat and was put on warfarin. she also takes bisop/hctz /mg and she doesnt remember why--what is a receptor blocker?

The Bisoprolol is a beta blocker and the HCTZ stands for Hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic, this combination is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and dehydration.
