Updated in NordetteFound 5 mm round gray (reminding a concrete) unmarked pills in a small brown capsule. When I break a pill it looks like a mixture of gray an white. Could you help to identify them, please. ## If there are no markings, it will most likely be difficult to determine what they contain. We can rule them out as being a prescription medication, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products and there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Learn more OTC drug details here. Where was it found? The general area may help to narrow it down, since some products are regional. Does anyone recognize this? ## They are water purification tablets. They are found at most milita...

After childbirth my doctor put me on sprintec 28 pack. I started on a sunday. I have two blue pills left and 7 white ones. My period start today. I call my doctor and he told me to finish the whole 7 white pills before starting a new pack. I'm confused because i thought that the white pills have no active medicine so im wondering am i going to be protected during that week and not get pregnant or should i not have sex during that week. Should i start a new pack after my period is done. Omg i dont know what to do. Someone please help ## Hi, Rubi! Sorry about the confusion. Normally, you should just finish the entire pack, including all of the white pills as your doctor instructed, even though you already started menstruating. It is normal for things to be a little off for the first t...
I am on Loestrin 28 day and was scheduled to get my period next week and will be going in vacation. I was suppose to start the brown inactive pills this coming Sunday but I started the brown pills on week three instead of week 4 just to bring on my period a week early. I've been on the pill for over 2 years and is there any possible risk associated with this kind of change. Oh and last month I skipped my period on purpose so technically I've been on the white active pills for 5 weeks straight and now I am on week 6 with the brown in active pills to try to get my period early. Please any advice with help. ## Hi, Deb! How are you? You should check with your doctor, to make sure it is safe for you to use them in this manner. But as long as you don't miss any active pills, then ...
Two rwd capsules were found iny beer at the club and i am trying to find out what they are im not certain about the numbers but am certain that there was an M. ## Hi, Kyra! You mean someone slipped them in your drink? Did you report this to the police? Unfortunately, without knowing what the numbers are, it's really a guessing game to try to identify them. There are quite a few red capsules on the market that have an M on them, as well as numbers. Do you still have them, could you double check the numbers?
I have been on Loestrin 24 Fe for about a year now. My doctor swore that it would not make me gain any weight. Since I've always struggled with my weight, it was an important factor in deciding to go on birth control. Three years ago I lost about 20 pounds and I kept it off for two years, with little exercise. Anyway, now a year later after beginning Loestrin 24, I managed to gain 25 pounds. I just started college and I have not gained the freshman 15, so I know it isnt that. I do a lot more walking then I did previously when I weighed less. The weight gain was a gradual thing, and it really just hit me a few weeks ago when I weighed myself and half my clothes stopped fitting me. I find myself very depressed at times, and I cry very easily. I know depression is a possible side effec...
Hi, I am on my last week of the package and I've been on this pill for 4 months now. My period comes the day that I start the last week.... is something wrong with that? I take them everyday and have never missed one. ## Hi Sarah, Have you discussed any of this with a gynecologist yet? From a naturalist perspective (assuming you are referring to birth control, when stating "the package"), there is something wrong with that, in the sense that taking a "prescription" pill is an unnatural and unhealthy way to regulate periods and/or birth control. If you're able to, I would consider looking into a natural plant alternative (such as Clary Sage) that doesn't have the undesirable side effects of prescription meds. My girlfriend has been supplementing with this spec...
Okay, I've been taking Tri Sprintec for about 6 months after being switched from Gianvi (generic Yaz.. bad, bad stuff). Anyway, I used to start the Gianvi pack on Wednesday and I never got my period on the weekend. Now I need to move my Tri Sprintect start to Monday, will it hurt anything to skip the last few white pills? Will there be bleeding?? ## Hi Georgie, Based on my research, the white pills in the Tri Sprintec pack are placebo/sugar pills- therefore it shouldn't hurt to skip the pills. However, since you're very slightly reprogramming your body in a way by switching the start date there may be some light spotting. Also, because birth control is hormonal based and hormones are very sensitive and react differently in everyone, there's no surefire way to know how yo...
Hi I Have Had The Jadelle In Since December 2012 Never Any Problems Until A Week Ago Got Crazy Bleeding Really Itchy Arm Where Been Placed My Also Found Lump On Like Doc Put Me Tranexamic Acid To Slow Down And It Stopped Straight Away But Now Im Lot Of Pain Back Heading Towards Neck Making Dead That Hurts When Breathe Shocks Sharp Through Anyone Else This ## Hi Poodle, Sorry to hear about the complications you've been facing with Jadelle implants. From what I've read, it's certainly not uncommon for people to experience these kinds of side effects on any type of medication that effects the hormones. In my opinion after reading your description, it sounds like it may be a good idea to start considering other alternatives to Jadelle. At least for long term safety. If you end u...
Hi Just started on Lo Loestrin Fe and got my period on time (perfect) but now it wont go off. Just when I think that its over I begin to bleed (not too heavy but not too light either). I have been bleeding now for seven days and my period normally last only four. The blood now is a light pink to light red color! I read to give it at least three packs. Has this happened to anyone else? ## This break through bleeding can be completely normal, and just as you read, it can last for the first 3 months that you are taking it, while your body adjusts to the hormones. Learn more oral contraceptive information here. If you find it really problematic, then you should contact your doctor, it may not be the right choice for you to use. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Hi! I have been o...
I was supposed to start taking my new pack of Lo Loestrin Fe last Thursday but was on vacation and couldn't get it filled till today. My period ended up being longer because of all this and just ended yesterday. Does anyone know if it's for ok me to start the new pack today ( a week from when i was supposed to?) or if i should wait till my next period. Thanks! ## Unless your doctor has specified otherwise, you can actually start them at any time during your cycle, however, if you start now then you will need to use additional protection to prevent pregnancy for the first 7 days. The reason they instruct most women to start on the first day of their menstrual cycle is because then you are immediately protected and no other contraception is necessary. i have missed my dronis 30 tablet for 3 days. now it had started an early period. what to do now? ## Hi, at this point you are no longer protected against pregnancy, so you'll need to use some other back up method of birth control for awhile, such as condoms, or abstain. It is also advisable to just start a new pack of pills, you will be protected from pregnancy again after you have taken them continuously for 7 days in a row. Are there any other questions I can help with?
my girl friend got preganancy for over two months. she take penorit tablet 2 times per day. may I know that itls really destory preganancy. ## Penorit is a combined hormonal contraceptive that can be used as an emergency contraceptive, but it will not terminate a pregnancy that is already several months along. In order for these to be effective, they need to be taken in the first 3 to 5 days after unprotected sex, so they prevent the pregnancy from occurring, they won't do anything if someone is already pregnant and takes them. Learn more emergency contraception details here. Has she done a pregnancy test to confirm that she is pregnant? ## hi i am 23 old female i have mensez problem it's not regular already one week late and i feeling pain in stomach can i take penorit?
Is It Possible To Stop The Period That Has Already Started? Please Mention If There Any Medicine For Same? My husband is coming to meet me just me for 3 days, again he will have to go back to work and i really want to stop my on going periods. ## Hi, Shikha! No, I'm sorry, but there is nothing that will work that fast to stop menstruation. The available medications would need to be obtained from a doctor and they take anywhere from 7 to 10 days to stop bleeding. I wish I could be of more help. Have you consulted a doctor? If you do so and get on an oral contraceptive, you can use them to delay your cycle. It can't be done once it has started, but if you know ahead of time, you can skip your menstrual week with them.
Help please! 38 years old, fibromyalgia, 3 children aged 18, 14, and 5. Unfortunately, I am a smoker. I had the Essure procedure it become sterile. The doctore put me on Lo Loestren FE until I take the test to confirm I am sterile. I have been on this pill for 5 months and I can't stand myself. I had breakthrough bleeding the first two and the doctor gave me samples and told me to take 2 pills a day. The breakthrough bleeding has stopped. I am so depressed to the point I question why I am here. I have gained 15 pounds so far, irritable, bloated, and my headaches are worse. I can dal with everything but the severe depression. I want to stop taking these pills NOW. I am 7 days into a new pack. Is it ok to just stop RIGHT NOW?? Can anymore help? ## Hi, Lilred! Sorry you're so miser...
Hie i have got jaddele for over a year have been going on menstrution for 8mnth what it removed where must l go im in capetown thank u ## Hi blesssy, Jadelle (levonorgestrel) implants are said to be inserted and removed by a minor surgical procedure at your healthcare provider's office. So you would essentially have to have a doctor or gynecologist in cape town remove them for you no matter where you ended up going. From what I've read, removing Jadelle implants could take longer than insertion and may be more difficult and/or cause more pain, especially if the implants are difficult to locate. Occasionally, additional incisions and/or office visits are required, depending on the situation. Hopefully this info helps to answer your question. Would you say that the experiences you...
My insurance company switched me to this generic pill (Alyacen 1/35) and I have not yet started taking it. I am somewhat concerned about it because I see that it is manufactured in India and I wonder what kind of quality control they have over drug manufacturing in that country. I know it was FDA approved, but how do I know it is safe? ## HI, Donna! Regardless of where they are manufactured, any medication that has been approved by the FDA and is available in the U.S. undergoes the same strict testing and quality assurance protocols as those that are manufactured here. And this is actually manufactured by a fantastic and very reputable company, Glenmark Generics Inc., USA. I have taken several of their medications in the past and never had a problem with any of them. If you're unsur...
I've been on loestrin 24fe since the beginning of September. My pill did not get delivered on time so I took it a week late since I am a Sunday starter. I just got my period and have one brown pill left for tomorrow and next time I am due for my period (July 12) I do not want it then because I have something on the 13th and the second day is always my heaviest. What should I do to not get my period then? Should I wait a week to take my white pills like what happened last month or just skip my brown pills next month and start a new pack? By the way I have never had a problem with my pill and even after having to restart my period came right on time as it usually does. ## Hi, Allison! To skip your period and still be protected against pregnancy, you'd need to continue taking the a...
Hi. Where can I get Jadelle implant removed in Nelspruit? ## Hi Elmash, Although I'm not familiar with your location, my findings state that are there plenty of gynecologists and other health-care providers within that region who should be more than qualified enough to remove a Jadelle implant. Similarly to the insertion procedure, your health-care provider should numb the area with a local anesthetic. Under sterile conditions, a small (1/8 inch) incision will be made through which the implants should be removed. From what I've read, the removal process is said to take more time than the insertion procedure, because If the implants are too deep, they can end up being more difficult to remove. In the event that both implants cannot be removed, additional visits and incisions may ...
