I am almost done with my first pack on Lo loestrin fe and 2 days ago I started spotting, no big deal. It seems to have gotten heavier and I have cramping (I'm still on the blue pills). Is this normal? I haven't skipped any, maybe I have taken it a 30 mins-2 hours later than I planned but that's it. Since I'm bleeding now and almost done with the pack should I maybe just skip to the white and brown pills and have my period and then start the new pack? I've been on lomedia since feb. Haven't been able to lose the 12 lbs I gained since starting it ( mind you I work out 4-5 days a week) I get about 4-5 headaches a week, I get nauseous all the time and sometimes morning sickness bc I take it at night. I've been extremely lethargic and all I want to do is sleep. I barely get my period. I'm switching to lo loestrin. found in my sons room trying to identify what it is ## the pill is an excedrin white round, with an e on one side, nothing on the other ## found 2 litte round white pills on floor. one side of pill has WC on the other side 530 ## Joe is correct, the E is a regular strength Excedrin tablet. Hi, I am trying to time my period to finish before my wedding on October 4th! I have been taking tri-previfem for several months, and have it scheduled out the I would be on my period during that same week of my wedding. Can I adjust the order I take the pills to have my period a week earlier?! I am on my period now, I usually bleed from Wednesday to Sunday. Hello, I just started taking Lo Loestrin FE and would like to delay my period at the end of the month for a vacation I'm taking to the Caribbean. Do I just skip the last 4 pills (white & brown) on the pack and go straight to the blue pills on the new pack? ## Yes, as long as it's okay with your doctor, you'd just skip the lower dose pills, or placebo pills that would induce your menstrual cycle. Unless there are certain medical reasons that may make it unsafe for you to do so, it is normally okay to do it. You are new to taking, however, so there are no guarantees that you may not experience a cycle, or breakthrough bleeding, anyway. I am realy worried about this ## Hi Kapra, You could always ask your doctor or gynecologist for an oral contraceptive. I know with certain one's (such as Lo Loestrin Fe, Sprintec, etc), if you take the different colored tablets in a specific way it's supposed to alter the timing of your menstrual cycle. As to the exact order of how that works, I'm not sure.. but your healthcare provider should be able to help determine that for you once you let them know about your intentions. I hope this helps!

How are you? How long have you been taking it? This needs to be taken every day throughout the month for it to possibly help with that. If you just started it and this is only your third tablet or first pack of pills, it is likely far too soon for it to have an effect. Hi this is my first pack of sprintec I take my pills at 11:00 everyday and never missed one and I'm on my 3rd white pill but still haven't started my period I also had unprotected intercourse on the 7th day of starting this birth control .. I don't know if I should take a test or just wait it out ??? Help ? Please ? ## Hello, Buttercup09! How are you? Did you start the tablets the first day of your period or at another point in your cycle? If you started on the first day of your period, then you were immediately protected, but if you started them at any other point in your cycle it would take a full 7 days for them to become effective to prevent ovulation, so it wouldn't be safe to have unprotected intercourse until the 8th day, or later.

I am 1 week out from finishing my first pack of Loestrin 24 Fe. I started the pill on the first day of my period and have taken the pill at the exact same time everyday. Before the pill, my period came at the same time every month for five days. However, I have not stopped bleeding since I started taking this pill. I require a pad/tampon at all times I am bleeding so much. Now starting the last week of pills it looks like my "period" is starting. Will the bleeding ever stop? My GYN gave me the standard "stick it out for 3 packs". This may sound crazy, but how am I ever supposed to have intercourse when I'm bleeding every day? And for 3 months of this??? I accidently took a 3rd week pill monday instead of my 2nd week pill thursday. NOt sure where to go from here ## Hi Kayde, Generally when a pill or dose has been missed, it is my opinion that your next step should be going back to the pill or dose that you should have taken and simply starting over from there with the thought in mind that you wont keep missing or taking the wrong dose. With certain drugs like oral contraceptives, this can be a bit unnerving; but that is why it is important to adhere to the instructions so strictly as compared to other drugs that don't require you take them in an orderly fashion. Have you talked to your doctor or gynecologist about this at all? ## i took 28 pill instead of 22.am i still safe?

Ok, so ive had ongoing depression, very on and off. thanks to research and the New Zealand herald article posted Sept last year, I am writing to you I have gotten mine Out today at the doctors. Hi i also have my implant in 7 years this September and mind has gone into far under the mussel so I'm waiting on surgery to have it removed my doctor told me it should not be still working after 3 years but i cant get pregnant. An believe me its not that I'm been over anxious as i already have two children one is 12 and my other is 7 this week. I always wanted another baby an thought the implant was a temporary solution to not getting pregnant to soon giving me a few years of a brake but i didn't image it would of been this long before i had another baby. My bf's condom broke when he's inside me. After 17 hours I took 4 nordette pills and after 12 hrs I took another 4 pills. After 24 hrs after taking Nordette is it okay to drink other medicines like cetirizine and amoxicilin? and after 2 days changed amoxicilin to cloxacilin.. will it affect the effectiveness of the pill? Most surgeons I'm aware of actually have their own individual set of special instructions/guidelines to follow prior to and post operation. This should include what you can or cannot take while s/he's performing their operation. However, with a Dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure it doesn't seem like the implant in your arm would necessarily get in the way (physically), since they would essentially be examining/removing tissue from inside your uterus.
