Hi, i just want to ask if pwede na po ba mgtake ng daphnepill kahit wala pa pong period nangank po ako last july 10, 2015 kc nd ko na po alam kung kelan mgkaka period. I just started taking Lo Loestrin Fe on Thursday, August 6th, on the first day of my period (in case it matters, I'm 18, 5'1", 100 lbs.). Normally, my periods (regular flow in the first 2-3 days, light flow for the remaining days) last exactly a week, with maybe some brownish or slightly red-tinged discharge for a day or two after the actual bleeding stops (I'll wear a liner for that). I stopped bleeding on Thursday, August 13th, right on schedule, but since then I have still been having a brown discharge. Usually, I can tell when I'm going to get my period a day or two before I actually start bleeding because my discharge will become heavier and either brownish or slightly red tinged (two days before) or dark brown and sort of "mucky" (one day before). Instead of taking the last row of pills in my sprintec pack, I skipped and immediately started a new pack with the blue pills. I've just finished two weeks of blue pills and STILL have my period- should I take the white pills this week to try to finish my period and then take the *3rd* week of blue pills (and then start a new pack after)? ## Hey it's the original poster of this thread. For clarification, I took rows 1,2, and 3 of one pack, skipped the last row, and started a new pack hoping to avoid my period. I have taken rows 1 and 2 of the new pack and still have my period. I've been on sprintec for going on a year now and I recently moved kinda far from my pharmacy where I get my sprintec pills and I got a refill that was picked up for me but I haven't been able to go get them for about 3 weeks now and I usually start my period around the last week of the month , and its the 3rd and I still haven't gotten it yet . is this normal ? ## If you've not been able to start this pack of pills, then yes, your hormone levels have most likely been thrown off, causing you to skip or be late. The other alternative, if you've had unprotected intercourse, is pregnancy. You may want to check in with your doctor, just in case. This is my second month to take Tri Sprintec. Do I need to use backup for seven days when starting a new pack since taking the white pills is like taking nothing at all? If not, I usually take my pills at 8 but I started my new pack 4 hours late today; will that be a problem? ## Hello, MissAnn! How are you? what is the best alternative for nordette since it was already pulled off the market? i took trust pills for now kasi yun ang nirecommend ng watsons. but mercury said Lady pills exact dosage pareho ng sa nordette. im on my 2nd day sa new pack ng trust pills. i took the 1st pill the day i was supposed to take my nordette. im still safe right? since i did not skip any pill naman i wanna switch to Lady pills.. coz hiyang na ako sa dosage ng nordette since same naman sila. how will i be able to switch kaya? thanks ## How r u ryt now? I am a breastfeeding mum. My baby is 2 months old and I had my implants inserted 2 weeks ago, since then, anytime I breastfeed her, she poos immediately. I end up changing her diaper up to 6 to times daily. The poo is yellowish and sometimes greenish with a little bit of mucous. I have tried giving her Ors and zinc but it just won't stop. Hi, i need help. Im not ready to have a baby yet. I took 4 pills of nordette 2 days after being intimate with my partner. The the next four pills i took 6 hours late because i fell asleep. Will it still be effective? The last time i tried nordette, i took nlthe next four pills an hour late and it was effective. Birth Control Pills ## this med was prescribed for severe menstrual cramps at age 16. I have been taking it for 2 and a half years. I am experiencing tiredness stomach aches, just not feeling well. I have had some blood work done and so far nothing has come up abnormal, can this med be making me feel bad? ## Oh, yes. It also caused weight gain and other side effects. There is a new pill called Yaz that my doctor switched me to, you might try that one. It's worked wonders. I've tried many bc pills about 5 years ago always have severe symptoms headaches nausea severe bloating weight gain hair loss. I've been on bio hormone replacement and tolerated pretty well. My doc wants me to switch to lo loestergen fe due to overian cysts endometriosis. Is this pill really that different to not cause those previous symptoms? So I have been on the sprinted pill for months, now I stopped for a month and I started it that Sunday. The next day on Monday I had intercourse. I haven't seen my period for a week. I started my period on my last week of blue pills, today(Monday). I am having a family vacation this weekend and am going to be outside doing active things. Is there anyway I can end my period early if I keep taking the blue pills? Any other suggestions for ending it early? ## Hello, Morgan! How are you? I had sex with my bf last april 28th. I took 4 pills of nordette and 4 pills again after 12 hours. Then, on May 3rd I think at 3 or 4 am we did the deed. Is it safe to take nordette again? I took nordette 2 times and if there's a chance of taking it, it'll be my 3rd time. Actually he did not ejaculate inside me. I just want to make sure..
