Biphetamine Treatment (Page 2) (Top voted first)
UpdatedOriginally used for weight reduction--it is available for treatment of ADD. I was originally prescribed it for the former, but found it more effective for treatment of ADD than other drugs such as ADDERALL. If not currently available through your company, can you provide sufficient information for pharmacists to formulate this.
Re: echeeanoose (# 20)
Just an update to your comments made on Feb 12, 2010 about Biphetamine 20 "Black Beauties". I do not doubt much of your story. However, your former employer "may" have been mismanaged, as you say. The facts are that, "Biphetamine 20 mg" became a not advertised "orphan drug" by Penwalt Pharmaceutical Corp. after the years 1978/1979+. Rochester NY. I know for a fact, that, I once knew (now retired) the likely most well known M.D in Dallas Texas, (Dr. Paul Elliott), a keynote speaker for ADDA.org and a national speaker, I recorded his one hour guest speaker tape in a big name hotel near Dupont Plaza in Washington DC in March of 1998. Dr. Elliott phrased the benefits of (now) Fisons Corporation (Rochester NY 14603) of target specific BIPHETAMINE 20 mg, NDC code 0585-0875 from at least the years 1960's until the year 1998. Dr Elliott had in the 1990's the largest number of patients who he treated for especially Adult ADHD, ADD, and Narcolepsy! (TX) He highly recommended RJS Biphetamine, Desoxyn, and Dexedrine, Dr Elliott had thousands of patients, over his very long career he specialized in ADD/ADHD! The 3rd top high quality ER stimulant I took from 1969 until, the present (2017) along with former, sadly, the Abbott Desoxyn Gradument / Desbutal Gradumet, methamphetamine and, finally, Smith Kline French Dexedrine Spansules, all have been discontinued, and are not on a orphan list, with the exception of Amedra Dexedrine Spansules 15mg but who in the world can afford 90 caps of 15 mg of Dexedrine Spansules for as much as ten dollars per pill AWP!!! and that is now an orphan drug!!! He was a strong advocate for the anti over-excessive language in the PDR's of the 1970's thru the 1990's, stating that the "big bold prints" by the National Academy of Sciences and the FDA, was short of hogwash, and, he was my hero! Most unfortunately, yes, Biphetamine production was halted later in the year of 1998.
I do not have a reference source available at the moment about post 1998, but, I am convinced that it was no longer an "orphan drug" beginning in the year of 1999, thus millions of US citizens, now, have IMHO been cheated of, one of the very best extended release and very smooth stimulants ever manufactured in the USA !! I am so sad that, the state of affairs in the past 7 years are so grim for very needy patients for the various neurological conditions as I have mentioned. It is a national tragedy IMHO that, the "stigma" continued to always hurt the sales of Biphetamine Black Beauties, that, yes goes back as far as 1974 to 1976! I personally experienced since the year 1969, especially since the year of 1973, that, Biphetamine 20 mg were very HTF because too many MD's including Psychiatrists were also affected by the stigma of the enormously popular Biphetamine 20 mg capsules, that, were so very common in the 60/70's, and it all quickly ended (prescriptions wrote per year) with a dramatic drop off in this C-II stimulant, from the year 1974 until 1976, and frankly for the duration of the existence of the next 24 years! The quality of manufacturers and choice of stimulants are a just a shadow of once was available to US citizens "now" compared to the late 1960's! Biphetamine had just 4 active major fillers, and many out there especially generic are stuffed with binders and fillers as many as 10 to 12 fillers in 2017!
Why is biphetamine only discussed on this Web site? Is it available by this name in US? Which pharmaceutical company? Cannot find listing at Biphetamine.asp.
i noticed a comment from 2005 indicated that biphetmines were presdribed for ADD. is anyone out there being given this instead of Adderall ,etc? what dose? how often? do you or your physician know of any articles - recent - on the subject? i just moved to virginia beach, and the four docs i've seen so far look at me like i have three heads when i mention just Adderall. from the little i do know and remember from l-o-n-g ago in grad school, biphetamenes (30mg.) seems to work better than 2 or3 dose of an Adderall-type med. please reply. thanks.
It is the exact same thing as Adderall, just a different brand name, so if you are taking Adderall, you will not achieve any difference by switching to this and there will be no difference to your treatment.
I was hopin to find an article I could site the next time I talked to doc about this. I can't remember what journal I read. I need a longer acting med than Adderall and can't afford Vyanase. Even on 20 mg. of Addderall t.i.d., I don't ever get shaky. After reading the article, I thought I found the solution. The guy looked at me like I had three heads when I related what I had read to ask is opinion. I kept tellilng him the info was in the medical literature, knowing he had access while I did not - to no avail. If anyone can site a particular article or journal for that matter, please respond. I thank you in advance for your help in ths matter.
I had Biphetamine as late as 1986. They were very powerful. But after '86 I never saw them again.
Adderall (notice the first 3 letters) actually has 4 differnt isometric amphphetamine compounds; only one or which is associated with the euphoria that drives it's recreational useage. Origanally marketed in the 60's under the name Obetrol, Shire was able to gain the patent for it's application in the treatment of ADD. I hate drug companies and thier patent protection schemes. Amphetamines are as easy and cheap to produce as aspirin. But I applaud Shire for it's ability to remove the stigma attached to amphetamines and open a whole new world for many people; myself included.
So I flunked spelling. Do you remember Biphetamine-q? It was a compound of 10/10 plus 90mgs of methaquaalone. Really! Sort of like dexamyl. rember that?
Daytona? Wasup wi dat? Port Orange. My doctor prescribes me Staight dexadrine 15mgs tid. It's as close as your going to get to Biphetamine
Sure.I remember dexamyl. Not many people cared for this compond. The Biphetamine-q, never heard of it. Was it sold in pharmacys or distributed directly by
physicans like 697's and RP's.
Fisons Corporation made biphetamines until 1998. After that, they were no more.
This site is bull, most of the hits on this site are employed
by the DEA or local police departments. No bad vibe, everyone needs to work.
So much real crime out there.
actually, im talking Biphetamine pillsfor the past 4 years.....
Formula for college degrees- prerequisite for all formulas is that one needs to have the ability to read and write,somewhat,:
1. B.A. OR B.S- 4 year supply of 20 mg Biphetamines ;
2. M.A. OR M.S. OR M.P.A, OR M.P.S.- 5 year supply of 20 mg Biphetamines;
3. PHD OR EQUIVALENT -- 6 to 8 year supply of 20 mg Biphetamines.
BUT, ALAS, FROM WHAT I'M HEARING YOU GUYS SAYING, IS THAT THEY DO NOT EXIST ANYMORE . THER WERE OTHER ACADEMIC BENEFITS THAT ' BLACK BEAUTIES ' BROUGHT TO THE UNIVERSES' UNIVERSAL UNIVERSITY SYSTEM:
A. TOTAL RECALL, NOT JUST TO REGURGITATE FOR EXAMS BUT MORE, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY,A TOTAL TOTALITY OF PERFECT MEMORY FOR A LIFETIME OR CLOSE TO THAT LIFETIME, OF FOUNDATIONAL REMEMBERANCES THAT ENABLED ONE TO ADD ONTO, USUALLY CREATIVELY, THE MONUMENT OF MONUMENTAL UNIVERSAL KNOWLEDGE!
B. THE MOST VALUABE ENERGETIC ENERGIES ADDED TO THE UNIVERSAL UNIVERSITY ALL NIGHT DISCUSSIONS, SO VALUABLE TO THE EDUCATION OF THE THIRSTY STUDENT AND THE THIRST OF THE EDUCATING GROUPS OF THE WILD UNFORGETTABLE COLLEGE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE!!!
When you mention that Adderall and Biphetamine are the same, there is one very distinct difference because biphetamine is a resin complex made of two dexedrine formulas. The resin makes it an automatic time release and prevents persons who abuse substances from injecting it because it is not water soluble.
Yes I remember the Preludin 25 mg I/R and the Preludin extended release 75 mg tablets, from my undergraduate years during 1970, and 1971. I compared it to Biphetamine, Desoxyn, Benzedrine Spansules, and, Dexedrine Spansules, and it was "stronger than death" in potency, equal (in my interpretation) to the I/R 5 mg Desoxyn pure methamphetamine. Unfortunately, "Preludin"has been removed off of the entire world marketplace for some time now. Source:

Hello ridge runner, I remember the 18-875 biphetamine as being bezoamphetamine, dextroamphetamine and time released secobarbital!
Dexedrine isn't dextro-amphetamine, which is much less potent. A lot of former narcolepsy and obesity patients wondered where the resin went. It is my suspicion that it was the main ingredient of the illegal "tar heroin" that so many street users are missing, the way those who had prescriptions at the pharmacy missed RJS, then Pennwalt, when they went to the streets.
I was on 1 form or other of biphetamine from third grade thru 12th grade, so over 9 yrs.
Does anyone know of any long term side effects of this med?
Same here .3rd thru 12.
