Biote Hormone Therapy Pellets
UpdatedIs there a NDC code for BioTE hormone therapy pellets? My insurance can't seem to find this product to see if it can be covered or reimbursed.

BioTe is the name of the company, but I am not sure what they call their actual product. However, you can call the company and ask, they list their number as 866-560-1773.
It's considered to be a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Their site also says that their statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, so since these are bioidentical, it might be considered a non-prescription, or non-medical product, so it may not be covered by most insurance plans.
BHT products can still cause some side effects, such as acne, headaches, irregular bleeding in women, and weight changes.
Does anyone else know more about BioTe?
