I need meds for restless legs and fibromyalgia!!! I take 60mg of Cymbalta 1x a day and Lortab 7.50/300mg every 4hrs... I also take Baclofen 10mg for a neck injury when it gets bad but not every day. Nothing helps with the restless legs. Help!!!

Pickle juice works for some, me included. Also a spoonful of yellow mustard works for some, haven’t needed to try that, since drinking the pickle juice works.

Odd that an allergic reaction to a medication would cause cysts that needed to be removed surgically.... ???? So sorry that happened. So I wouldn’t let them try u on Horizant either .. it is a long acting formulation of gabapenten.

I tried Gabapentin and found I am allergic to it. I get horrific cysts under my arms breasts and groin area. I am talking the size of oranges. I had to have them cut out. I was hospitalized as they got infected. It was 6 months of the worst pain ever. On top of all my other back and chronic other stuff. I was not a happy person.

On Amazon there is an supplement alternative for L-Dopa. Reviews say it helps with restless leg. It is called Mucuna. Read some reviews on amazon. Also could help with depression and anxiety.

I have RLS too! Isn't it the worst thing in the world? I've had it since childhood. I find the only thing that helps me 100% through the night is Oxycodone, my pain medication. I also find that cold compresses on your legs in bed, ice packs, take a cold bath before bed. A nurse told me this and it does work. I am sorry you are suffering from this too.

I bought the same supplement on TV. I take 2 in morning And 2 at night. Two at night was just not enough to control my legs. Good luck I hope this helps.

Try 500 mg of calcium citrate and 250 to 500 mg of magnesium to calm nerves and muscles.

Might ask doc next visit as the carbidopa/levadopa doesn't seem to be working, especially at night. Taking 3, 10mg tabs at bedtime to no avail, bit have been on it for years.

Gabapentin is good for restless legs... Horizant ER is a formulation of gabapentin labeled for restless legs.

Legatrin PM is excellent and you get a lot of tabs for 13.00. But now WALGREENS isn’t carrying it anymore and I can’t find it anywhere! I think I even have restless in my arms too! 2 serious auto accidents and then I used to be in disco and ballroom dancing competitions. I loved it but it was hell on my body and legs. I overheard some one say Magnesium Phosphate was a miracle worker. But this too disappeared from the shelves!? {affiliate link added}

My Dr. put me on Carbidopa/Levadopa years ago. (Sinemet). Works wonders. My Dad when he was still alive suffered from RLS, which I wasn't aware of till he had a medical trauma living in California. His Dr. had him on Quinine pills? which didn't help, so I mentioned what I took and sure enough it was restful sleep nights for my Dad once he started on it too.
