Best Generic Alprazolam (xanax) (Page 5)
(Newest replies first)
Updated
I have been getting the 2mg Greenstones the last few years and they work much better than the Actavis. Now i read that greenstones were changed back in early 2014. Is it people that take these to feel high or people who really need them for anxiety and nothing else? Regardless if they have been changed they're still much better Actavis and I have heard mixed results on Sandoz. Dava seems to be crap. Took it once (looks to be from Endo who bought out Qualitest). Any opinions on the current state of the generic xanax manufactures? And lastly, no insurance company will give me the name brand. It's generic or nothing.
Re: Debra (# 99)
everyone Eddy is a fed or in pharma industry not advice to take from someone he is on almost every drug thread here don't take his advice stay away from eddy guys
Re: Keez (# 100)
they are definitely cheap generics I would get greenstone or even activas over them but they have alprazolam in them ofcourse but yes all these india companies worrysome
Re: Keez (# 100)
yes auribindo is legit not my pretence and new generics I would like feedback on them but the ones that have imprint a p o 2 are xr by Canada. keep me posted
Re: Goozer (# 68)
So ive gotten ahold of some aurobindo scored y 20 1s. It doesn't say anything about extended release online. Is there any benzo in them at all? I'm skeptical they're just plain fake being from India and all. ANY help is appreciated
Re: EDDY (# 1)
Weird?
Do some research. The fillers actually matter.
Sorry everyone, it's been a harsh month being sick with the flu. I have responded to all inquiries for everyone and corrections and feedback. Most are in review but should be up very soon. Please get back with feedback and news and everyone stay away from eddy. He is almost on every forum on meds chat and trolls people. Either a doctor, pharmacist, insurance people or fed. Not on our side. No use talking with him, just bad news. Anyways hope my responses get to you all in a timely manner. Much love and God bless.
Re: Nacho (# 77)
nacho sandoz ruined the market back in 2013 with all its presses. best are greenstone Boca and each generic is different
greenstone- perfect balance of potency and longevity
dava- good strong but pit you asleep not much anxiety relief
sandoz- No longer the best maybe equal to mylan now days
activas- fast to hit hard to quick to end. stay away from activas most addicting generic out there and the cheapest. follow the money. i like the yellows activas once in awhile but would never fill my rx with them only greenstone or bocas.
Re: Nacho (# 78)
if you were to get a bottle of dava alprazolam it would say dava on the bottle if you were to get the qualitest ones with a check mark they will no longer say qualitest but will say par pharma but dava and par / qualitest are very different I have had both generics dava is not the same par even though owned by endo / par they still make their own different one just as par / qualitest alprazolam but yes both owned by par but dispensed as dava and now par for the check mark imprints so yes you r right they are owned by same company Endo Pharma but are different and will say dava on one and par ( no longer qualitest) on the other. so wrong and right
Re: Nacho (# 78)
Greenstone is best. It will not let you down. Something I'm surprised about if you worked in a pharmacy for 8 years. Just goes to show pharmacies don't know their stuff nor do they care lol. Il help u find greenstones but if you are in the industry or have been for 8 years you should have no problem. Lmk if you need help finding them. Dava was bought out by endo and then par / owned by endo bought out qualitest so if you want anything qualitest it will now be par pharma, but dava and par / endo are still made with different ndc numbers and manufacturers.
Re: Nacho (# 79)
Forgive me. Lol. Davas ship out wholesale with dava / qualitest / par/ all and owned companies alongside greenstone. If they are shipping davas then what u get there will be greenstone in the shipment. Sorry, endo did buy out dava. I know my stuff lol but thanks for the correction on miscommunication.
Re: Chuck (# 80)
All meds especially generic smell like glue to a degree, even brand name 3mg xr xanax. In this day we don't know what real meds are. We are in an era of s***ty generics, no brand name and bad chemicals. Just stay away from teva, mylan and a few others; and glue is how alprazolam smells. Better glue some more alpraz and yes dava is decent but a sleeper dose type. Here to help any way.
Re: Mike (# 81)
everyone has different issues and diseases when needed you can get a rx for up to 6 mg a day but that's the most anything else is a crooked doc. you r paying them if they won't raise your dose time to find a new doctor who will and will put your money to good use and stop wasting it on a doctor that won't even raise your dose over years. maybe he thinks you are good where you are at. remebe guys we are paying these doctors insurance companies and pharmacist money money money if you arent getting what you "need" time to look for a doc that will help if not time to tell your doc your paying them and if they can't even raise u from .5 over so long that you will give all that insurance and out of pocket money to a doc that will
Re: Lisa (# 82)
It seems like you are looking to pay brand name prices and unless rich that is just not possible for any middle-class people. Greenstone is made in the same lab as pfizer is under 10 bucks for generic. It sounds like you are getting dava if it's green and oblong. I'm happy to help, just let me know the city and closest pharmacies and i'll make some calls for you, but prep for no more as brand name is too expensive. I wish i could afford them myself but greenstone are right there with them. don't worry i'll help.
Re: Lisa (# 83)
Cvs are horrible, just as bad as Walgreens. I would be happy to help you find greenstones in your area if u want. Honestly find the smallest mom and pops pharmacy around. They need the profit with CVS and big chains competing and at your request if their wholesaler McKesson, cardinal, acton, etc has them in stock they will be happy to get it for you. Next time ask for a paper rx always so it is easier to hang onto until you have found someone willing to order them in for you and for your business. If you need help i can make sure we find you some, just lmk. Anything other than brand or greenstone is a waste of your time and money.
Re: Lisa (# 84)
Mine does and is still active. Just hard finding them. I wonder if they're worth the trouble even or just stay with an easy fill on greenstone. No transfer or a**holes pharmacist, but brand would be nice.
Re: Mr Diaz (# 85)
Eddy is a creeper. He is on all threads and honestly seems like a fed or pharma sales person or someone in the field. Don't take his advice. He is like trolling all posts. Nest diazepam is now activas who bought out watson who still use the watson formulation for diazepam. The ones with dan imprints are by far the best generic available. Eddy is on the fed pharma side trolling safe forming. If u get diazepam get the activas / watson / mayne pharma ones with the Dan imprint on one side. Stay the hell away from teva and mylan as both are so bad. Also stay away from eddy lol.
Re: Benzhelp (# 86)
yes this is true they went back on old formulation in 2017 thank goodness. i used to get those exact omes but moved up to the 2 mg ones g3722 imprints. better than any generic. except bocas pharma I have never tried those I hear they are compatible if not better than brand. but all generics have inactive ingredients which depending on the person can effect your health and it's potency and efficiency. i have stayed on greenstone for years I do have a phizer saving card but hard to get pharmacist to order it in as they say they haven't come by brand name in years so may try my saving from phizer next month at a Costco or good small store pharmacies that service older people they have brand name when requested. not sure may not be worth the effort and time and transfer to figure it out or not sure what to do yet. either stay with greenstone or ask to change refill to a pharmacy that has brand or can get it in re run the insurance and the savings card to see how much it would save and maybe get brand or just refill greenstone which yes have gone back to old formulation and good. i have 3 mg and 1 mg greenstones saved from 2013 and they are back to equal with the greenstone dispensed today yes. thank goodness. any other questions or feedback please don't hesitate
Goozer,
I am prescribed 1mg alprazolam and get the greenstone G3721 blue ovals, I read on posts back in 2012 that they were indistinguishable from Pfizer brand name xanax. Then I read in 2014 they changed the fillers binders and they were more placeboish and not as good... so did they go back to the original formulation that were so great before they made the change in 2014? If I understand you correctly you are stating that greenstone has gone back to the formulation that made them #1 best generic closest to brand xanax before the change In 2014?
Re: EDDY (# 1)
Eddy, let's say that diazepam is in game, not alprazolam. It's a BIG difference if you're getting Galenika Bensedin or Apaurin or some Indian pharma diazepam... Cant be the same thing.
Re: Lisa (# 62)
I went to use the XANAX program and it does not exist any longer.
