Best Generic Alprazolam (xanax) (Page 3)

I have been getting the 2mg Greenstones the last few years and they work much better than the Actavis. Now i read that greenstones were changed back in early 2014. Is it people that take these to feel high or people who really need them for anxiety and nothing else? Regardless if they have been changed they're still much better Actavis and I have heard mixed results on Sandoz. Dava seems to be crap. Took it once (looks to be from Endo who bought out Qualitest). Any opinions on the current state of the generic xanax manufactures? And lastly, no insurance company will give me the name brand. It's generic or nothing.

I agree with you the davas are great but haven't touched a sandoz in a long time..i have the Greenstone but can get whatever generic any month..sandoz were my favorite in 2014 and your right they are from Switzerland my apologies and they are good but imo greenstone is better..theybcome close but is pick greenstone over sandoz always. I had some not to long ago and thought ya I like my g stones still

Oh I know I really enjoy the quality of the endo pharma..get the endo 602s special ordered from pharmacy so it's always endo. The qualitest haven't had much try on alprazolam but I know they are similar to dava and greenstone and I can get them, but prefer to stay with my greenstone unless I get better feedback on one's I haven't tried, but I have tried most all of them that are US made.

Aurobindo is NOT Novartis. Novartis is a Swiss based pharma that makes Sandoz. Not sure where you're getting your information but you're wrong. The Indian company Aurobindo makes their own version of alprazolam, which, again, is completely different than Sandoz.

Auribindo and Mylan including Sandoz are all Novartis subsidiaries brother. Any one can g oogle it. You are right though they are from Swiss if your scroll down i apologized for my mistake of the area novartis is Swiss and under them is auriobindo, mylan, sandoz. No need to be trolling man. I know my info.

Your correct tho bindo is from India..but is a novartis subsidiary or was..maube it changed. MY BAD. Either way I can get the x 74s etc. I just don't like auribindo compared to US made..no need to be getting mad and finnin for some noise over a mistake. SORRY GUYS NOVARTIS IS SWISS..lol. I know my information brother and love to share my knowledge and apologized for my indirection as soon as I noticed non need to be trolling. Either way both do not even comoare to greenstones old and now back formulation or most us made. My mistake..lol. novartis has its hand in a lot of places my bad Swiss is right auriobindo is made for itself in India for the usa but is a subsidiary with novartis anyways GREENSTONE 10 SANDOZ 4. IMO

Also auribindo was only approved fornER/XR alprazolam here in the states. I would still pick my greenstone g 2 s. Over the x 74. Would love to see a bindo bar..maybe I have if they are blank. The farmapar pharma alprazolam 2mg tablets that are blank are the best..hard to find and not approved here I don't believe unfortunately. One is like 3 greenstone/sandoz tablets of the farmapar pharma.

I wasn't trying to troll you, just disagreeing and wondering where you got the info! To my knowledge, Aurobindo is not a subsidiary of Novartis. I did google it and I found where there was a lawsuit regarding Novartis V. Aurobindo... but I didn't see anywhere that one is a parent company of the other. Who knows though. It's hard to keep track of all these pharmas because they're always acquiring/buying other ones.

I'll stick with my Sandoz, you stick with your Greenstone... and hopefully we'll all live happily ever after! lol

Lol agreed. I would like to know how the bocas and par/qualitest 2mg compare to greenstone..and i haven't had sandoz in years..any feedback on Boca and qualitest compared to greenstone id love to hear it

Cvs where i live only gives Sandoz xanax. I used to get greenstone and mylan brand. They said have to accept what they get. I don't even bother asking them to try to get a generic which worked better for me as they dont go out of their way.

That means time for new pharmacy. Don't give them your business and money if they aren't catering to you and your needs.

I am curious tho if anyone can compare the greenstone xrs to the new auribindo ers, sandoz, activas? I never steered from my Dr greenstone 2mg but my pharmacy told me today they originally dispense auribindo ones on that and my g reenstones on order in a few days but want to know anyone out there ever try auribindo and greenstone xr alprazolam and have a good comparison?

No I've never tried any XR formulation of alprazolam. Based on the poor quality of Aurobindo's other meds i'd definitely try to avoid them. I know you already got a sufficient answer but thought I'd chime in anyway. Good luck.

I find that the aurobindo generic for alprazolam XR is awful, does absolutely nothing for me. The Greenstone is the generic I have to have and it works very well to eliminate any anxiety I have.

I thought it was just me. I’ve been getting the worst alprazolam out there. I used to get decent quality from Optum RX but I can’t use them anymore. CVS, Walgreens and Walmart have the worst. I can’t imagine my drug plan letting me have the brand

Hey, I can tell by your list you know the benzo quality well from experience. For e.g. trial & error perhaps. I was getting Dava for awhile and recently noticed the bottle smelt like glue. It's a mom and pop store. I only take 4-6mg a day 2mg bars. Green guys. But I switched to a new place tonight and the only choice was greenstone or dava. Again I left with the glue so I researched it and I'm reading and now convinced dava os terrible but it does what I take it for, relaxes me to go to sleep. A year ago I didn't feel this way. Now I cant wait to eat and sleep. Is dava that smells like glue bad and should I switch to greenstone? Thanks

Hey Mason, i have been taking Dava for awhile. I dont have a problem with the 2mg green bar. But one thing that's I've noticed lately. The bottles always smell like glue. I feel like this means the pills are cheap and changed somehow. Do you know since you seem to be the only one that knows what their talking about?

To be honest with you I sometimes question having mine filled as requesting the green davas..honestly most benzos smell like glue. I have some 3mg greenstone saved and they smell like glue..that my friend is the good benzo smell..an acquired one. My top two favorite are the greenstone and dava but I still always pick greenstone...always...but I occasionally enjoy the dava generic. Both dava and greenstone come from the same wholesaler in the supply chain..meaning they are not so far from different. I want to try the qualitest kind but have not heard the best things about them. It is hard with dava because dava makes two bar formulations...one is shinny and coated and the other is not. I prefer the coated davas but they are hard to come by. Mom and pops stores get good generics but they still order cheap ones at wholesale price so remember what they dispense is saving and making them money. I request greenstone every month. Sometimes I want to switch to dava or qualitest but always stay true to greenstone. They (experience wise) are the most effective bars I have tried. I have not tried the Boca circles though or sandoz since they killed the market. I say try greenstone. Both are good choices with greenstone being just a bit better and lasting longer while davas are strong, make you sleepy and then fade quickly. Like I said I enjoy both but always pick greenstone.
