I have ankylosing spondylitis and have been taking Beline capsules for nine months with remarkable results. I am largely pain free with an all round feel good benefit. Even a very long standing skin rash has disappeared. When I stop taking them the pain returns quite noticeably. Nonetheless I have strong reservations about herbal medications and intend to consult with my Rheumatologist shortly. Pity!!!

Je viens sur ce forum témoigner de mon expérience. Je prends ces capsules Beline depuis 6 mois pour une spondylarthrite très importante. Très vite après la prise de ce médicament, les douleurs de ma sacroilléite avaient disparu, mes genoux avaient désenflé et je ne souffrais plus. Par contre j'ai remarqué des effets secondaires : hausse de ma tension artérielle au début du traitement qui s'est arrangée par la suite, tout en continuant à prendre des médicaments pour la tension, crampes dans les pieds très fortes. Les analyses ont décelé qu'il y avait un anémie très forte par manque de fer. Après supplémentation en fer, les crampes ont disparu. Je surveille. J'ai eu de petites veines supercielles qui ont éclaté aux jambes. J'ai dû porter des bas de contention.ça c'est stabilisé en prenant de la teinture mère Vitis Vinifera. A part ça, je n'ai rien observé d'autre, sinon que je marche normalement, je mène une vie absolument normale et que les avantages de ce remède sont bien plus importants que leurs inconvénients.

I've been wheelchair bound for many years due to severe arthritis. Having taken Beline Capsules for over a year, my arthritis has been remarkably relieved and am even able to attempt some short walks on my own now. I too have not encountered any side effect till date. Hope that I will be able to continue purchasing this supplement.

For others who didn't click on the link and read the information, Beline has been found to contain 2mgs of Chlorpheniramine, which is an antihistamine, used to treat allergies.
In the U.S. this dosage is commonly available over the counter, however, they do not list this as being in the capsules and for people that are allergic or sensitive to it, it may cause some problems, like dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision and nausea.
If you have been taking this product, you should stop using it and contact your doctor. Even though Chlorpheniramine can be purchased over the counter in some countries, there are safe and non-safe ways to use it, so you may have been taking more than the safe amounts, if you were taking these capsules frequently or taking a lot of them, at once.

I've been taking Beline Capsules for 2 years now. So far the results have been very good, and no side effects. I make it a habit to take it before i go for blood tests, my results has been positive so far. I hope the MHRA does not take this good product away.

Many thanks for the replies. I am treating the product with extreme caution and have my own BP monitor and will certainly not take it on a regular basis. What a shame that something which does so much to relieve the pain and discomfort cannot be matched by traditional medicine. I have been struggling with Prednisolone for 5 years now and thought beline might be the answer!

Flo, the real problem with these types of products is that they are not tested to discover what the side effects are, so there is no way of knowing what effect it will have on you and it is highly possible that one or more of the ingredients in it may cause fluctuations in your blood pressure.
Since most products don't reach their full effectiveness in the body until around 4 to 6 weeks of use, a raise in your blood pressure could be a problem, because that has probably not peaked out, yet. That means it may make it go even higher, which could be dangerous. In this case, I'd be very reluctant to continue using them.

I too have started to take Beline for Polymyalgia Rheumatica and experienced v good results within 48 hours. The only thing I have noticed is that my Blood Pressure seems to rise when taking them. I currently take Wester medicine for my BP and have not stopped. Has anyone else experienced the same?. I showed them to my doctor who did not think they should have much effect on the BP but I am naturally suspicious of something about which we know very little!

It's good to hear that they are successfully helping some people.
As to purchasing them, the company states on its website that they can only be ordered directly through them, so it appears there aren't any other options to get them any sooner.
And yes, they are an herbal product and unfortunately this means that its side effect profile has not been studied, nor has its possible interactions with other medications.

My wife started Beline Capsules recently for her arthritis with remarkable almost instantaneous relief. I ordered them from the UK and it took forever for them to get to Colorado. Where do you get yours? I share your concern about possible interactions with other drugs and possible negative consequences.
