Re: Pete c (# 12) Expand Referenced Message

Just realize my pharmacy changed to these Aurobindo brand lorazapams. Will not take them. I was taking ones from Leading. I wish I had NEVER taken the 1st benzo. I just want off of them all together. Anyone know of a way off without it killing you. Before getting the Leading ones, was getting Watson from Walmart. Got a refill, noticed I could not sleep, 9 days later, I was researching the internet, discovered they changed them, had no medicine in them I was in withdrawal. Big Pharma going to kill us all while they get richer. I hate em

I also take the Watson/Actavis brand from Wal mart. It is hit or miss. But how do you know it contained no medicine? I thought medications like that were strictly controlled. I took the Auborino brand once and thought it was okay. The Leading brand never worked for me.

Yes; so true. Ativan generics are not what they used to be.

Same here. The opposite of what lorazepam should do.

I don't know if I've taken this brand of lorazapam before, but after picking my prescription up. I took my dose, and never got any relief. I googled these pills to see if they're real. AUROBINDO

Re: Em (# 17) Expand Referenced Message

I’ve been taking Aurobindo brand lorazepam 0.5mg for two years with good result. However, after my last refill I am feeling very jittery with insomnia and palpitations etc. Could it be a bad batch?

I’ve been doing well on Aurobindo Lorazepam 0.5mg for 3 years now after having to switch from Mylan.

After my latest refill of Aurobindo, I am having severe withdrawal symptoms. It doesn’t feel like the same medicine at all.

What do I do? Has anyone experienced this?

Re: Blue15 (# 27) Expand Referenced Message

I’m experiencing this except I’m experiencing it with leading pharm. I’ve always taken aurobindo, I have told the pharmacy I can’t take leading but for some reason I got it and didn’t realize it until a few days ago. it’s scaring me . I’m calling my doctor tomorrow.

Re: Karen (# 32) Expand Referenced Message

I am, too, Karen. Have taken them for 3 mo and sick the entire time. I have no appetite, have lost a lot of weight, palpitations and never ending shakes. I told my psych doctor but she doesn't seem to think it's the drug and wants me to have blood workup. I know it is this brand of Lorazepam and other generics have given me problems but this is by far the worst. I have heard nothing good about Aurobindu as a manufacturer and I hope more people speak up to the FDA or whoever.

Re: Ajay (# 30) Expand Referenced Message

My pharmacy tells me there is a shortage on Lorazepam and other manufacturers are not producing. Autobindu is all anyone around here can get. I don't know what can be done but something has to change. It is scary to continually be sick.

Re: Karen (# 32) Expand Referenced Message

Karen, same here. 2 months in and it's like I'm not taking anything or something far inferior to the TEVA brand I was getting from CVS.

Re: Paula (# 34) Expand Referenced Message

That’s what I’ve heard too, so the only options are Leading and Aurobindo at the moment until Teva is back in stock.

Re: Mary (# 36) Expand Referenced Message

I have never had an issue with generic lorazepam until now. I have been taking 0.5 for many years at bedtime. My new Rx filled by Aurobindo and even taking double did nothing 3 times. Don't know what to do but will be going to pharmacist shortly. Can't use these at all.

Re: Alli (# 38) Expand Referenced Message

For sure we all have to stick togeather. Don’t be lazy, file a complaint if you’re having any problems. I read thru this list and it frightens me. I’m so allergic to leading brand lorazepam went to E.R. During Covid season to be set up in hallway elbow to elbow with strangers. I take hydrocodone for back pain. Had numerous problems just last two years. Found black material in them. Some brown and freckle after a week or two. I get severally short breath and weak, massive headache too. Takes a whole week to recover. Check pills before you leave the pharmacy or they won’t let you return them. Also photograph and file your complaints.

Re: Ashley (# 29) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Ashley, I had no problems with Watson or Teva. Landed in hospital once on leading. I have allergies to inert ingredients. What my doctors thinking. Sometimes it’s mixed partial bottle have trouble with. Next batch no issues. Third time can’t hardly walk, work. WOW I have put in complaints to FDA, Pharma itself and others. Document with photos and batch numbers from bottle. The fines they are getting are slap on the wrist. Wonder how many people have died. I’m working on having some pills sent to private lab. I have severe anxiety. Talk about your feel bad feel worse. This is America, why are we putting up with this. We should shut them down open plants in the U.S. regulate them like we deserve
